Snowflakes do not send faux liberals running to their safe spaces with hot cocoa waiting on them.

He takes criticism well, but not sure why one would think he should keep his mouth shut when people attack him using yellow journalism. Things are topsy turvy. The Press is supposed to speak truth to power, yet trump is having to speak truth to power. Or truth to yellow journalists.

The point of my remark is that it's not unusual for new president to bring in their own people. Obama is the most recent example of this which make my comment very "on topic"
    Thanks for the insight

Amazing that you should be amazed that a poster actually cares about the focus of a thread. I thought that was part of the policy in this forum!

Are you saying he knows all the wrongs he is doing and pretends he doesn't? That would not only be stupid, it would be crooked and unethical!

But thus far he hasn't done much wrong save misremember a few things, most actual policies have been spot on. Of course you and I will completely disagree on this point....

Sorry no it fdoesn't as I have said repeatedly the fact that he climbed of the birther Wagon almost immediately after Obama provided his certificate of live birth from Hawaii.

Disagree in private with your boss. Air your dirty laundry to the public and well face the consequences.

Craig Deare, recently appointed the U.S. National Security Council’s senior director for Western Hemisphere Affairs, was removed from the agency days after criticizing President Donald Trump and senior White House officials during a private event.

There is no such thing as a private event anymore. He criticized his boss in a event that guaranteed that his comments would get out and if he thought otherwise than he was too stupid to have the position anyway..

So Trump hates freedom of speech so much that he attacks his subordinates for not having 100% loyalty even when they are at home?

Deare was apparently brought in by Flynn.

“The White House abruptly dismissed a senior National Security Council aide on Friday after receiving reports that he had publicly laced into the president and his senior aides, including son-in-law Jared Kushner and daughter Ivanka Trump at an event hosted by a Washington think tank.”

“The aide, Craig Deare, was serving as the NSC's senior director for Western Hemisphere Affairs. Earlier in the week, at a private, off-the-record roundtable hosted by the Woodrow Wilson Center for a group of about two dozen scholars, Deare harshly criticized the president and his chief strategist Steve Bannon and railed against the dysfunction paralyzing the Trump White House, according to a source familiar with the situation. He complained in particular that senior national security aides do not have access to the president -- and gave a detailed and embarrassing readout of Trump's call with Mexican president Enrique Pena Nieto.” POLITICO, White House dismisses NSC aide after harsh criticism of Trump, By ELIANA JOHNSON 02/18/17.

Trump has been targeted by an intelligence community that specializes in overthrowing governments. The last thing Trump needs close to him is a hostile ruthless spook who specializes in clandestine subversion.

Trump should order Sessions to get a grand jury investigation up and running - stat. The FBI and/or federal Marshals should have been sent out to seize hard drives and other records some time ago.

I'd have canned him in a heartbeat. If my people went around my back and criticized me in public without first confronting me about issues they had with my policies, they would rightfully be toast. They are being paid to be support personnel ,,, not to whisper in the background. Given Trump's MO ,,, to begin debate on any issue by first throwing an extreme position out there ,,, then meeting privately with people from both sides of the debate ,,, stuff like what McCain pulled could be very damaging.

We've never seen anyone like Trump in the Oval Office and we've also never negotiated a deal that's beneficial to the country. Coincidence?

Nothing about Freedom of Speech here. Freedom of Speech gives one the right to spout off about their boss and policies all day long but it does not provide freedom from consequences. .

Except for the fact that the boss in this case is the government, which is banned from persecuting people for their freedom of speech.

Oh, certainly he can be fired at will given his position. And certainly I can condemn Trump for the reason he did it.

    absolutely.

a man of integrity, of honor, of self-esteem, does not fire someone when youve only been on the job for 30 days, just cause the guy criticized your embryonic policies.
