As I posted Freedom of Speech does NOT protect one from the consequences of what one says. I don't condemn Trump as I don't want disloyal staff working for me either.

Freedom of Speech means the govt. cannot censor or punish you for political views.

And you believe the consequences of not telling your boss exactly what he wants to hear should be losing your job.

Telling a boss in private is one thing cutting the bosses legs off outside of that is another.

Military coup? In the USA? Purely rhetorical, no need for further embarrassment. :alcoholic:

the military won't stand for their personnel being fired left and right simply for disagreeing with Traitor Trump

How you in your vivid imagination you conclude US military leadership is at odds with it's commander in chief I cannot understand. Joint Chiefs are not oportunistic would be dictators plotting the overthrow of the US gov't. Trump stands a better chance of ascending to the papacy than being forcefully removed from office.

The military of all people know the importance of following orders.... The military of all people know that if a private or a lieutenant starts questioning and openly criticizing the general's orders he is due for a good old demotion at best, court-marshaling at worst. Duh

    he was not demoted.

    he was fired.

which means he wasn't true military, but a civilian employee

Good riddance. My point was to refute your nonsense about the military though, they of all people understand that insubordination and refusal to follow orders are extremely serious offenses, to be dealt with harshly. They applaud president Trump's decision to rid the government of bad apples

But NOT with his Boss but with a GROUP of other people. Guess he either needed to keep his mouth shut or had a different group to complain to.

So again, you are encouraging a situation in which Trump sits in an echo chamber because all he has are mindless toadies and yes-men who will only tell him what he wants to hear.

He fired Flynn because Flynn liked to lie and make up "Flynn Facts" that had no basis in reality.

You know, similar to that Flynn Fact that he had no contact with the Russian government?

LOL, sure thing. Flynn did not like Obama politicizing terrorism and was against one of Obama's 'legacy' issues, the Iran deal.

If you think Flynn lied, well, he is a lifelong democrat so...

Listen, I don't like Hillary, so it annoys me to have to "defend" her.
But let's be fair. . .Hillary won ALL the debates she had with Trump.

And it is obvious to everyone who has a sense of fairness and an education beyond junior high school that Trump's command of language is seriously lacking, both in vocabulary and in sentence structure. That could almost be forgiven, IF he made up for this by offering substance and truth. . .but once again, his speeches lack both!

NOT at ALL. FEEL Free to give your boss a different opinion or disagree all you want in department meetings with him/her present, or one on one. But outside the room EVERYONE needs to be on the train.
