Well guess what? When I tried to find the PERF survey mentioned in your NY Times link, up popped the Joyce Foundation. Joyce is a Chicago based far, far left wing organization that acts as a major funding conduit for "progressive" agenda organizations, Joyce used to bill themselves as the "most aggressive gun ban group", obama was the Director from 1994-2002.

Joyce funds the Police Executive Research Forum, so of course the PERF is going to present the opposition to "progressives" as "right wing" and dangerous.

So that's a great big FAIL. You will be hard pressed to provide a more biased, political, and unreliable source. The best you can come up with as "Christian terrorism" is simple propaganda.

Fancy footwork wont get you out of the fact that the Koran - as you admit - has many, many versus demanding violence against infidels. The Koran promotes love among muslims, not to nonmuslims, for nonmuslims - infidels, apostates, Jews, Christians - the Koran demands they either be killed in various brutal ways, or forcibly converted.

So, yes, the Koran is not contradictory, it consistently says it is extremely intolerant of nonmuslims, intolerant to the point of enslaving, torturing, and murdering nonmuslims.

Why are you fussing over the source? Look at the list of incidents.

I did, there are only 3 incidents listed in the NYTimes article. The major "evidence" is the PERF survey.

It says "The Global Terrorism Database maintained by the Start Center at the University of Maryland includes 65 attacks in the United States associated with right-wing ideologies and 24 by Muslim extremists since 9/11." I looked at that database, its is searchable but the list of organizations to search on is extensive and would take days for me to identify "right wing" groups and try to verify the claim.

But I did search on terrorism acts by 6 animal rights groups (ELF, ALF, Earth First, Animal Rights Militia, Animal Defense League, Earth Night Action Group) and found they committed 78 terror acts since 9/11. That's just 6 animal rights groups, not nearly the entire "left wing", seems the "left wing extremists" are a much bigger problem then "right wing".

Then the NYT article does something suspicious, it states "The International Security Program at the New America Foundation identifies 39 fatalities from “non-jihadist” homegrown extremists and 26 fatalities from “jihadist” extremists." With the Global Terrorism Database the NYT counted incidents, not with the ISP it reports fatalities, they changed metrics. So I looked at the ISP, there are far more "jihadist" terror attacks then "right wing", but more "right wing" fatalities. NYT cherry picked data.

But then you have to ask, why does the ISP only break down terror attacks into 2 categories - jihadist, and "right wing"? That's very odd particularly after the Global Terrorism Database showed "left wing" terror was far more frequent.

So I looked into the International Security Program, and guess who shows up as a major funding source? Some very left wing groups including ...... George Soros Open Society Foundation. LOL You cannot get more unbiased and radical then Joyce and Soros.

You have struck out again. You better do some research before posting these links. First its a NY Times article, with sources funded by Joyce, and Soros.

    Fail Fail and triple Fail.

I agree. Most sensible people are willing to give a group a pass for awhile...but after numerous similar incidents emanating from the same basic religion in numerous different countries it becomes obvious that something is basically amiss with that religion.

I admitted that the Koran has a few verses that are violent, not necessarily against "infidels". But keep continuing your prattle.

No. It regards non-Muslims living in Muslim lands as protected under law, and it regards Muslims living in non-Muslim lands as part of those communities.
