Yesterday at the California Republican Convention being held this weekend in Sacramento voter fraud was brought up. Ballot harvesting by the Democrats. That there are more people registered to vote in California than there are eligible voters. That just last year California's DMV registered over 120,000 people to vote who weren't eligible to vote including illegal aliens. But the Democrats still claim that voter fraud is a myth except in North Carolina where the Democrats charged that Republicans committed voter fraud by ballot harvesting. Ballot harvesting breaks the chain of custody of the ballot. Any ballot that was harvested is invalid.
Sure, as long as republicans aren't the ones "securing" our elections. Recently a consultant retained by the Republican candidate’s campaign in N. Carolina hired people to collect voters’ absentee ballots door to door, even instructing voters to leave the ballots unsealed and not filled out. That means these ballots could be manipulated or simply thrown away. Republicans have been crying “voter fraud” at every opportunity while they suppress legitimate voters across the country like in this case. And now it turns out that the most extensive and significant election fraud operation in recent memory was conducted on behalf of the GOP. Why are we not surprised? But this time they were caught. Last week, a new election was officially ordered for NC-09, giving the voters an opportunity to truly make their voices heard.
Bunk. For the democrats it's not about illegal aliens. It's about deceptions perpetrated by the Republicans and it is on-going. Find a way to get voter ID cards to all voting-age citizens without them having to go get them, and without costing them anything, and watch the democrats accept it.
Yes to get the attention of those who believe so then I went on to the fallacy of this canard that voting fraud doesn't matter because "it is so rare". On a massive scale or even when it does so rarely? I wasn't claiming it my state why that strawman? I asked how many "rare" fraudlent votes would it take to sway the outcome of the elections I sited and you guys have been dodging it ever since. Why not confront reality?
I have given you three major elections since 2007, doesn't even go into the thousands of smaller local elections which you and others tend to ignore. The claim that it is so rare it can't is false, even rare voter fraud can have MAJOR repercussions.
Exactly. I am all for FREE gov't issued voter ID, but if it costs money then that is a poll tax, which is illegal.
Doesn't matter which party and this is another example how it doesn't have to be "rare" to have a significant effect on an election, the canard about it doesn't matter because it doesn't happen on a massive scale. And the left in California vote two years ago to enhance and legalize vote harvesting, the method used in NC and now there is a move by the Democrats in the Congress to force vote harvesting nationwide. So what about Kentucky, how many "rare" fraudulent votes to change the outcome of that one?
Why are you claiming voter fraud on the Democrat side never happens? Why does it have to be shown to you?
The fraud lies with people who know next to nothing of their subject but talk as though they're the authority.
