and you know it works so well... because the results are in your favor??? hardly proof... the fact is, that those ballots can all be filled out by one person in the household, and there is no check/balance... does the election board call you and say 'mr. kode, we just recieved your mail in ballot, would you please confirm it was you and whom did you vote for, we just wanna make certain this is a valid ballot"... nope!!!

ergo, susceptible to fraud and we should strive to eliminate any & all potential fraud, wouldn't you agree...

Fact is that there has been NO CHALLENGES to the system for accuracy, safety of the vote, or meaningful fraud of any voter since the program's inception. And your speculations as to how it can be hacked or defrauded is BS based on nothing but opinion.

causation isn't proof of anything... lets say for argument sake there hasn't been any fraud, it still makes sense to eliminate the potential for it... it is extremely easy to require 'state dept' issued id proving citizenship to be presented before entering a polling place...

they already have these 'passport id cards' available, millions already have their passports, allow them to use the passport book until they are issued a card instead... set the time limit for the 2024 cycle, give priority to voter aged individuals that don't already have their passport... plenty of time before then... the cards are just $30, give 'em free to fixed incomers... add card readers to the machines, which will allow only one vote per card and allow you to use any polling place anywhere in the country and have your vote tallied towards your home district. if someone manages to 'clone' a card, the system will know it was used multiple times & 'red flag' it & the original vote until an investigation is completed... by 2028 cycle fraud will be eliminated, no more "we found a truck load of uncounted ballots in the back room" bs...

any resistance to it would be pure bull and for frauder's sake...

I would love to see it happen. Free cards given in mobile vans, city halls, schools, senior centers. That will be used for employment and voting.

I don't think voter fraud matters either but the reason is that voting never fixes anything. It just changes the names on the door.

we already know there's a problem, hence all the news and lawsuits about voter fraud and suddenly appearing uncounted votes... it exists even if you refuse to see it...

The only real problem, and it is a big one, is republican ELECTION fraud. VOTER fraud is not as great an issue and it can be prevented by transitioning to vote-by-mail.

Define "meaningful fraud". And yes there have been challenges. Even vote by mail is not a guaranty against fraud.

Tell me do you have to show a photo ID to register and confirm your identity when you sign up for vote by mail?

The Brennan Center ?? Too funny. The problem is that there has never been found anyone who has testified that they did not vote or were denied the right to vote because of voter ID requirement. Stick with data and ditch the computer model speculation. BTW what is the error band on this 2% projection from the computer model research ??

That's too funny. The vote in Oregon is all by mail. That's the easiest way for voter fraud to occur. You want some reading material with real world data:

If you have something to say, say it.

    Ahhh from your own link
"After defeating power tripping leftist Brad Avakian for the seat last year, Dennis Richardson has uncovered several cases of voter fraud."

    And

"The office also identified ballots submitted under the names of six deceased Oregonians and two registered Oregon voters who each cast two ballots in state."
    https://kobi5.com/news/minimal-voter-fraud-discovered-in-oregon-61156/

So I can register with just a piece of paper with a name and address on it and vote with just a piece of paper with just a name name on it?

    I said it.

Right. Eight cases. That's 0.002%. And our system of data verification caught them. If you have voter IDs that won't stop some people from trying. The point that escapes you is that of catching them. If you had read my links you would have found a study that states: "the mandatory signature checking process combined with other tracking and safety measures insure a relatively high level of ballot integrity."

Try getting around our system with that thought. "Piece of paper"? All you have is words. But a piece of paper and the right words can produce real results, can't they?

But it only took 0.000002% to change the outcome of the major elections I cited.

700% more than necessary to have changed the outcome of the election.

Yep, them. How many didn't it catch?

It sure puts a big roadblock in the way. If voter ID is require when you register and when you vote how do you get around it?

Me>>So I can register with just a piece of paper with a name and address on it and vote with just a piece of paper with just a name name on it?

Yes, a paycheck stub, a piece of paper with just a name on it. A utility bill, a piece of paper with just a name on it. My state takes it more seriously than that.

So you think voter IDs would be foolproof even though it would reduce the number of voters, but that's what the right wants because Wyrick said so.

Counterfeit them. Everything can be faked. But studies find that voter IDs have little to no effect.
    https://www.vox.com/policy-and-poli...09/voter-id-laws-fraud-turnout-study-research

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/12/opinion/voter-id-study-republicans-democrats.html

Show me some reliable data proving that Oregon has more voter fraud that any state that requires voter IDs. Your state has one of the WORST records of election fraud of any state!

    https://www.usapoliticstoday.org/voter-fraud-senate-race-alabama/

    Then we have this:
"Caught up in the excitement of Doug Jones’ victory over Judge Roy Moore, a man at a Jones victory party seems to admit to a local reporter that many Jones supporters came from non-Alabama states to vote illegally."

it's good for King Trump when there's voter fraud because it will be easier for him to claim the other side cheated and refuse to give up the throne...

I do not know ... but should I start counting how many times under the 8 years Obama of the righties the term "voter fraud" fell?

Anyway ... I am foreigner and with us this is not different with the Tehma "Voter Fraud" as with you ... also as far as the ridiculousness etc. are concerned.
The very first Chancellor after the war with us had it in an interview, where he was addressed to a non-held election promises, put in a nutshell ... as far as politicians thinking:

"What interests me my own gossip of yesterday?"
