That videos exist does not mean that MSM in the west has access to them. I see some video footage for Iraq or Turkey in MSM when something happens, but it isn't as easy to corral interpreters, get permissions, etc THey don't have eyewitness accounts, etc.. Go to twitter when something big is going down in the US and you will see MSM producers tweeting people who have posted indicating they have video or are in the building or have witnessed a shooting or other incident. They farm social media for this stuff. CNN Producers likely have no freaking idea what someone in Turkey is tweeting because of the language barrier so there is a bigger lag and they end up just getting the footage second or third hand from foreign outlets like the ones you have seen them on. Again, next time there is a mass shooting, search twitter for something like "CNN Producer" and you will see what I am talking about.

 

Russia has a different civilizational foundation than Western Europe. They are Orthodox so theirs is based on the Greek influenced Roman Empire of the East, while Western Europe is based on the Frank influenced Rome of the West.. Because of the greater spiritual emphasis in the Eastern Church, less value was given to this world's achievements. The West resents this because they see their standards as being superior and wants everyone in the world to mimic and follow them, and that's something Russia will never do for the simple reason that it doesn't see them as being superior...and it freaks them out.

This is why Vladimir Putin said that every nation must be given an equal respect, and that no one should impose their own standards on others. The Soviet Union tried to do it and it failed, and Washington will fail to.

 

I don't accept that. Why was it that RT was showing all those videos of what was going on at Maidan, and yet nothing was ever shown on the MSM's? Also why aren't there any videos in the MSM of the war going on in Eastern Turkey when you can find the videos all over youtube?
