Again if the government fulfill its SOLE role of retaining free and fair trade by busting monopolies and protecting free and fair markets, how is it inherently unstable?

Don't you read the posts? :)

The clue was in the reference to Keynes. Crikey, you just need cost-plus pricing and- without interventionism- stagflation is just one shock away.

You also don't know your history. Chang has already published in depth over how government actually engineers economic development. Government isn't just stabilising; it creates capitalism...

Nope. Capitalism by definition requires private ownership of the means of production: land (i.e., natural resources) and the products of labor devoted to production (buildings, tools, vehicles, livestock, etc.). As private ownership of land can only be effected by government, capitalism is dependent on government. "Free market capitalism" is an oxymoron, a self-contradiction, for the same reason: private ownership of land forces everyone to subsidize landowners, and forced subsidies by definition cannot be part of a free market.

The amusing aspects of right wingers is that they've allowed rentier capitalism to dominate (ensuring non-separation of private and public sectors), but then have the gall to moan about liberal democracy ;)

Exactly my point. I have no idea what you found to argue against when I basically said the same thing.

There is no democracy in a collective, and it's not socialism if there is no collective. Democracy will always interfere with the function of a collective, because the whole thing is predicated on a maximum labour model - no exceptions. If people are 'free' to demand preferential consideration in that labour, the work will never get done.

However, a collective (voluntary of course) can exist very comfortably within a broader context of capitalist democracy.

I'm not interested in your blag. Its actually just a matter of fact: democracy is a core element in both feasible socialism forms.

Of course. You need to cling tightly (with one hand, the other is on your purchased-labour produced shiraz) to the model which allows you to continue your plush capitalist armchair lifestyle without getting dirt under your nails. I mean gosh, it's not like you're about to actually do the work yourself, when you can simply throw money at the peasants to do it for you.

A non-surplus collective model, predicated upon the mandate of 'work to eat'. AKA, mandatory unpaid labour in exchange for lifetime access to the means of survival. Property, shelter, water, earth - and medical, educational, clothing etc needs met. If the labour (and civility - which is essential in a collective) requirement is not met, no deal.

It's not for everyone, but it's fantastic for those who might otherwise not be able to buy into such an arrangement independently. Most Westerners are flaming capitalists, so can't stand the thought of losing even a single one of their capitalist comforts and freedoms. Which is totally fine of course, those things are great - IF you can afford them. If not, don't opt for the individualist life then complain because you can't secure the means of survival.

Nothing comment. Why do you think both feasible forms of socialism, anarchistic and market socialist, ultimately advertise that you're blagging? Why do you think both build on Marxist concepts, but also adapt according to other viewpoints over authoritarianism (e.g. market socialist response to Hayekian information problems)? Why do you think you're forced to come out with churlishness, rather than adopting or adapting the feasible socialist perspectives?

I don't expect any reasoned response to these questions.

You know, it's great fun for me that you keep arcing up from your capitalist armchair whenever you get the "she's right, I'm a phony" squirms, but doesn't it get dull for you?

Not one question answered, going instead for sub-Trumpster churlishness. Tut tut.

Why can't you answer my questions? Be honest now (I don't expect it mind you)

From churlish to childish. Why can't you actually refer, or critique, any aspects of socialist political economy. Seems a rather knowledge hole for someone pretending to be left wing...
