And their votes for Hillary was their way of saying to Don-

"We don't want no steenkin wall!"

PS- I see border state New Mexico also went nuts and voted against Don and his Wall-

My hope is that Clark County Nevada would merge with the new state of South California, and the remaining parts of the less populated rural areas of northern and eastern California make up the new state of North California.

Another option is for the federal government to expel California from the union, for failure to comply with federal law and national security interests.

The only way Republicans will ever regain power in California is for them to dump conservatism, religion and ignorance/racism. Since they will never do that the game is over for them in our most wonderful state. Expecting us to adopt mindless right wing gibberish and hatred is a fool's errand, we are too smart and likeable to accept this claptrap. The real problem for republicans is that they can only win by gaming the system, that can only work for so long before the game gets changed to prevent it again. Our youth do not want to live in the world of right wing ideology, they are too smart and kind to accept it.

Under Obama, the democrats lost a great deal of political significance. The November election was as much a rejection of him as a rejection of Hillary. Frankly, both parties have been handing the blue collar worker a **** sandwhich for a long time. This time, The democrats expected them to ask for seconds on election day. They got a surprise.

As a Californian I can tell you it's going to be a steep climb. Our state government and most local governments have been absolutely infiltrated by anti-American, anti-Constitutional hard left political hacks. Starting with my governor who recently called me -- one of the highest-taxed Americans in the country -- a "freeloader" because I, like so many of my fellow income-earning taxpayers finally had the nerve to say enough is enough and we are petitioning to overturn Governor Moonbeam's new gas tax which will be used for everything except what it's intended for: fixing our highways. For what we pay in taxes already, our streets should be paved with gold... But let me take you on a pothole tour. There are some big enough to swallow a city bus. You want to make a killing in LA? Open a wheel repair shop...

But these *******s take our highway money and spend it on everything from sex changes for prison inmates to free cellphones for illegal aliens. Lucky for those inmates, however, they will soon be able to have the sex changes at a regular doctor since our governor has let thousands of them back onto the streets in a move he calls "realignment." Sounds innocent enough, but it basically has reclassified certain kinds of crimes from felonies down to misdemeanors meaning violent creeps get back on our streets far sooner than they should - if they even see any jail time at all.

Speaking of felons, I never thought I'd say this, but I really miss Antonio Villaraigosa... my current Mayor, Eric Garcetti, is among the worst of the PC "feelings" crowd and has led the charge to create a special fund to help illegal aliens with legal defense against mean old Mr. Trump because he has taken the radical step of actually telling ICE to do their jobs... something the last ten presidents would not let them do. You can bet some of my highway taxes will find their way into the illegal alien slush fund... no matter anyway, because Governor Moonbeam is well on his way toward making California the nation's first sanctuary STATE. His pal Garcetti is just salivating over the thought of it - imagine millions of criminals who will vote for him because he gives them my tax money!! Oh you can bet he has his eye on the Governor's Mansion. This, the same mayor who just a few months ago told us to "thank a felon" for serving their sentence and who now will not even call them felons. Herewith in the City of Los Angeles, all persons henceforth convicted of felonies (of which there will be like three because Moonbeam reclassified all the felonies) shall be referred to not as felons, but rather as "justice-impacted individuals." I wish I was joking, but seriously you can't make this stuff up.

Of course, you have to remember this is the same state in which three high school students were forced to go home and change their shirts because they contained an offensive image... what you ask was so offensive that high school students could not wear it to school? It must have been some kind of profanity? Or maybe some racist remarks? Porn? No, it was far, FAR worse than that... it was, brace yourselves, and AMERICAN FLAG. That's right, students at a Los Angeles area high school were prohibited from wearing the FLAG OF THEIR OWN COUNTRY... IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY... because it might upset some of the students FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY... WHICH SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS... BUT LET'S JUST SAY IT'S A LITTLE SOUTH OF SAN DIEGO.

Well, at least there is some good news... and from San Francisco of all places: In a recent uncharacteristic Draconian move, the City Council passed an ordinance that states if you are nude -- as in naked no clothes -- and you wish to sit on a public bench that you must first PUT DOWN A TOWEL!

We're done. California as we once knew it is dead and buried. This is my home and I love this state, but I am making plans to make my exit in the next several months. It's really too bad, because this once was a great place to live.

Guess what, Governor Brown? When I go? I'm taking my taxes with me...

There needs to be a movement to make "California Great Again."

But foreigners, anchor babies, anarchist, obstructionist and internationalist socialist liberals outnumber the Americans in California.

You must be in Siskiyou or Modoc? It's nice up there. If I were you, I'd vote to annex yourselves to Oregon when it splits itself in two at the Cascades, with the Coastal cities from Medford to Eugene to Portland go blue and the inland side of the state goes red.

    Yeah, good luck with that.

Twenty years ago, my now ex-wife worked in a restaurant in the Los Angeles area. She struck up a casual conversation once with a co-worker about travel because we had just returned from a trip abroad. She mentioned one of the countries we visited and the co-worker says, "oh, I've been there... such a beautiful place." In making conversation, my wife says "oh, did you fly nonstop on such-and-such airlines?" The co-worker responded, as casually as if choosing diet Coke over Coke, "oh, no... I had to leave from Mexico City... I don't have papers."

This person routinely crossed the border illegally, lived here for years, and had no qualms whatsoever about breaking multiple laws to live and work here. Multiply this by several million. And now, our governor is on the verge of making California the nation's first sanctuary STATE.

In all fairness, you need to consider the possibility that the Liberals may feel the same for Republicans.

The republicans need to think outside of their box; it's really the only way they'll get back their voting base. :)

Agreed. It wasn't just november. Dems have been suffering a string of losses, which is why blaming the Russians is so silly.

Absolutely-the democrat govt has regularly taken money that should be spend on roads and used them to fund pet social causes. Then they go to the public (which means the few of us that work) and ask for more-because who does not want working roads?

They squander funds on things that dont work, like public transit, bike paths, and the train to nowhere.

And they do the SAME with funding for emergency services and schools.

Just a series of scams for between politicians and an ignorant mass of voters who aren't paying for anything anyway.

I've literally spent thousands of dollars on wheel repairs - and I'm in the nice part of LA. I was on a rare downtown visit last night for a concert and I swear driving down Broadway felt more like offroading.

Someone hacked a local freeway sign here during the election season.

Instead of drive times, it simply displayed "Make America Great Again".

    Lefties were terrified.

I got a new set of tires last november. In the last 2 weeks I've had to replace 2.

    The potholes are insane.

Even just by the economy of scale, we should have far better roads. Nevermind that LA is a car city.

    Throw out your bigots.
    Stop denigrating science.
Stop selling out to the rich.
At least pretend to give a crap about poor people.
Put the interests of the country ahead of the interests of your party.
Stop making government bad by mis-governing and improve government instead.
Actually be FOR something instead of just opposing everything.
    Recruit some non-corrupt candidates.
