    Life sentence without trial?? Do you just make this crap up for fun??

    He'll get his (first) day in court in 5 weeks... until then, enjoy that jail food!... Manafort could stand to lose a few...

    Mueller/Weismann and their kindred judge will keep postponing the trial until Manafort cracks in the hellhole jail they sent him to. Once he 'gets his head right' they will put his 'confession' before him to sign. It's kinda like the Soviet Union under Stalin. We've sent a 70 year old man with no criminal record to a gulag for an indeterminate period of time until he repents. Manafort, at this point is kinda like 'Reek' in Game of Thrones.

    Gulag?? They listed the name of the jail in the OP.. I checked on Google Earth... if you come in from the river, you might have a chance of busting him out, then getting the order of Stalin for returning him to the Motherland...

    I didn't realize that he had been CONVICTED of that. Clinton was charged with the same crime, yet , escaped imprisonment.

    Had Manafort threatened anyone? Was there a NO CONTACT ORDER given prior to his contacting POTENTIAL (not "SLATED") witnesses , to build his own defense ?

    Something really stinks.

    A white collar crime committed 12 years ago.

    A new accusation of witness tampering and revoking bail and sending someone to prison before going to trial is so 1930's Nazi Germany.

    It seems the federal judge has decided that Manafort should begin his prison sentence for a white collar crime before being convicted in a courtroom.

    I wonder if this federal judge attended Hillary's victory party and is part of the resistance and the Democratic with hunt ?

    How many lives has Mueller's witch hunt has destroyed so far ?

    Tom DeLay is a smart man and he claims the phone call they busted Manafort for lasted less than 2 minutes. Manafort has to be a genius to thwart justice in under 2 minutes by phone. Manafort has options too and he has lawyers on his side. A lot of decent lawyers must want to work pro-bono to right justice in this case.

    That is EXACTLY what this is; it is using the legal system to PUNISH Manafort for his defense's effective actions in Virginia.

    He has been convicted of nothing and threatened NO ONE; this is a disgrace.

    Until the case concludes, we can't be clear the man is guilty of any crime.

    I found at the Guardian a couple of salient points.

    "Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating claims of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, has indicted Manafort on multiple counts. Manafort is accused of “laundering profits” from his lobbying work in Ukraine, carried out over a period of a decade for Yanukovych and his political party."

    So, this was over a period of a decade meaning it was going on even at the end stages of the Bush admin. It was to help the legal president of Ukraine. For some odd reason, Democrats here decided that the elected president did not deserve to be president of Ukraine so it was okay to overthrow him. Funny that was okay but when the public in Crimea voted to bolt, that was not okay with our Democrats.

    Wasn't it Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee who laundered $10 million dollars using a law firm and the money worked its way to Fusion GPS and then a former foreign intelligence operative then was used to purchase a fake dossier from Russians and then the fake dossier worked its way back to Hillary Clinton then James Comey who used the fake dossier in a FISA court to launch a witch hunt ?

    It was the Obama administration who meddled in the Ukraine internal affairs and meddled in the Ukraine elections in Russia's backyard.
    Putin wasn't a happy camper and even went public reminding President Obama of America's Monroe Doctrine."

    But when Hillary Clinton meddled in Russia's elections is when Vladimir Putin had enough and launched the "Putin Revenge."

    They will probably deny him visitation as he might 'tamper with a witness'. By the way, does anyone know what witness he is alleged to tamper with? I doubt Weismann and Judge Berman even know.........it wasn't really important to the Star Chamber proceeding

    It was not happening to asylum seekers or their families until Trump put into place the so call zero tolerance policy.

    Good questions. Frankly I know what most know, Manafort is charged. With money laundering plus operating as an undisclosed foreign agent. Democrats would have us believe this is during the campaign when you and i know it was going on even when Bush was president along with all of the two terms of Obama. So it has nothing to do with Trump.

    As to Hillary, I am unclear of all her situations.
