... for any politicians who advocates that the State seize control of a woman's womb before a viable, sentient person has developed in it.
Unless you're an accomplished neuro scientist, your argument is summarily dismissed. Who are you to argue when does sentient life begins? Hm?
There should be a "3 strikes you're out" law where on the third abortion the woman would be sterilized. The tubal ligation wouldn't have to be "forced". She'd have to consent to it before being allowed to get the final abortion. First she would be placed under anesthesia. By the time she wakes up she won't have to worry about an unwanted pregnancy ever again.
Well, since women lack souls, who cares? It's like asking how much money we should devote to building universities for orangutans.
IMO your plan is discriminatory, unnecessary, and deliberately punitive and cruel.. It is discriminatory because, for the most part, it is undoubtedly the poorest and most incapable women (for various reasons, including low mental ability, psychological problems, and drug addictions, as well as victimization issues) who would have three unwanted pregnancies. It is unnecessary because there are now implantables as well as IUDs that last for several years. If they were financially accessible to the most needy, they would see more use, particularly if public entitlements were no longer based on having children. It is unnecessarily cruel and punitive because it assumes that the woman deserves never to have a child, even though in the future she might be able to care for one properly...and, also, because it elevates a few (usually, if abortion is accessible soon enough) essentially insensate cells over the feelings of a grown person. There are some people that IMO should be sterilized, but there should be a clear cut, individualized, legal process for that which takes into account the person's genetics, desires, abilities, and maturity level. It should not be determined by some random statistic.
Are you seriously arguing for a woman's right to get THREE abortions? Just how many times do you think she should be able to kill before someone puts a stop to it? Repeat pregnancies that all end in abortion are not the result of a 'simple little mistake' or 'bad luck'.
Yes, primitive minds think women are nothing more than cattle, to be bred and controlled. Luckily, most people exited the cave and believe all humans, even women, have rights...
If a woman locks a baby into a cagea cage that has a time lock on it and will not open for 9 daysthen it is her responsibility to provide for it until that lock is able to be opened. And that's exactly what a woman does when she gets pregnantshe essentially creates a baby within her body that is locked in there for 9 months. Ripping apart the baby into little pieces to fit through the bars so she can have the baby removed from her cage before the full time is up is not acceptable. She put it there, so now she has to gestate.
WHERE do you come up with this stuff???? Do you still think women who have abortions should be forced to wear a pregnancy suit?
You are allowed to force someone else to give up their liver to sustain your life? Wow, I didn't know that. At what stage does the fetus "fight" abortion? Only human fetuses do this? If you had been aborted you would never know would you? The unborn have no Thoughts. How many people are lined up to adopt black babies?
Yes she is in full charge of her own body, and she was in full control when she climaxed and the egg was made alive by her partner's sperm. THEN The Creator of life took over, and a new life was created, she has no right to take a life.
