Whistleblower 'didn’t have direct knowledge of the communications' between Trump and Ukraine

She knew that she was under investigation for other leaking and decided to try to cover it by claiming immunity... And it should be fun finding out how the supposedly confidential IG referral was leaked to Adam Schiff.

So, if everything is looked at closely, the Dems are going to have egg on their faces once again.

 

Prosecutor Victor Shokin's deputy Prosecutor Vitaly Kasko resigned in Feb 2016 sighting coruption in Shokin's office and that Shokin had failed to investigate Burisma Holdings the company that Little Biden worked for.

So Shokin was was accused of failing to prosecute Little Biden's company but Trump fans are claiming that Old Man Biden got Shokin fired for prosecuting Little Biden.

Trump fanatics cannot have it both ways.

At a conference two years after he left office, Joe Biden openly boasted about successfully pressuring Ukraine to fire that prosecutor when he was vice president.

But the DNI general counsel said days later that, after consulting with the DOJ, the matter did not meet the legal definition of an “urgent concern," and was not subject to mandatory disclosure to Congress.

“Furthermore, because the complaint involves confidential and potentially privileged communications by persons outside the Intelligence Community, the DNI lacks unilateral authority to transmit such materials to the intelligence committees,” Jason Klitenic, the DNI general counsel, wrote.

 

Thanks for confirming that the DNI IG considered the complaint both credible and urgent.

And thanks also for confirming that Trump's appointees are trying to bury the report to make sure that Congress never sees it, even though the law says it should go to Congress automatically.

If it is true that Biden used political pressure to get a hard driving Ukrainian attorney general dismissed who was investigating his son's company, then Biden should be investigated.

It definitely should be investigated to determine if Joe Biden made a threat of withholding 1 billion dollars in aid if the AG was not dismissed.

The legislation is the “check and balance”. It calls for the report to go to the Congressional committee (“shall” = mandatory) if the report is found to be credible and urgent. There is no mechanism for further review before it goes to the committee.

This is a cover-up, plain and simple. And you are cheering on the cover-up.

The IMF and Western countries wanted that prosecutor fired because he failed to prosecute and investigate. Since Shokin was not investigating Biden had nothing to stop. Again Shokin was fired for NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT investigating. Get it!
