Six of the seven mainstream news media networks are being severely dishonest if they claim to be fairly reporting on all relevant matters in geo-political and social issues. It’s a joke. And I won’t bore you repeating the scores of incidences I could cite where they covered-up left wing scandals faster than a girl running out of Weinstein’s suite. Then they downplay the gravity of the issue which is horribly dishonest and hypocritical.

I don’t think anything will come of it. Yesterday, The US Court of Appeals ruled in favor of “FUCT” brand clothing being perfectly acceptable and any other offensive trademark for public consumption. It violates free speech. You appear to think that if a "news network" is not lambasting the position party, their favorite president's critics, and all former presidents of the opposition party on a daily basis hen they are "biased".

Just because a network reports that the FBI is investigating a POTUS's campaign for possible or likely crimes or other inpropiaties and that is your boy that does not make them biased. Just because a network reports that the opposition party to your favorite POTUS has points that are critical of him or his policies does not make them biased. What makes a network biased is the network that "reports" all criticism, all investigations, and all reports of impropriety as "fake news" regardless of what the facts are or before an investigation is completed. The network that calls for shutting down any investigation into possible or probable criminal activity of their favorite party is biased. The network the broadcasts 24/7 accusing candidate or government officials of the opposing party of murder or purposely letting state department employees die without one bit of evidence is biased. I must add keeps that crap going even after 1727 1/2 hearing and investigations found no evidence.

The network that gives virtually unlimited air time to any buffoon that claims that the POTUS of the opposing party was not a natural born AMERICAN CITIZEN and fails to very such claims by those buffoons is biased.

I am not saying that the mostly honest networks do not screw up occasionally because they do and they correct their mistake.

The network that calls for the immediate resignation of any politician of the opposing party who commits unwanted sexual advances or simulated groping but then says nothing about an admitted child molester running for the Senate where he was going to create the Gang Of Pedophiles caucus.

BTW NPR rather quickly fired their coopers and butt grabbers but I see that the CEO of unwanted or coerced genital touching is still in the Oval office. Where is the outrage on that from the network that claims to be fair and balanced and not biased ??? ?

Nobody's controlling anything, this is an internal memo on word usage that has been made public. It doesn't affect anyone other than the CDC. Think of it as "rules of etiquette" for a government agency.

 

Today, it may only 'affect' the CDC, but the tentacles of 'newspeak' are like a disease that tends to infect everything. As I said, and deeply believe, "Language is thought!". But, to an American population of English-speakers, where every single sentence it utters must be peppered liberally with, "you know", "I mean", "basically", and other maddeningly-repeated, blithering-idiot "filler", it probably doesn't make any difference at this point anyway....
