New York isn't much better. The house I grew up in was 1,300 sq ft and it currently has a value just over $1 million. But it is in a fairly nice neighborhood.

Many of the states in the south, just seem to be 'stifled' overall. I can't figure it out, I just see it. :(

The socialists did. They're the ones that have been spoiling for a fight/revolution the entire time, and when the hippies gained political relevance, they ran with it.

Remembrer that hippies were nothing more than marxists, and Marxism requires a revolution. They were never very big in the states that are now red states. Only the blue states were they really prevalent.

So yeah, I blame the hippies.

yes, because having one of the three largest budget surpluses and the largest private sector job growth out of all 50 states is dragging the state of California down

No, eventually there will be a quake in SF or LA which will be the final straw in the States financial fiasco. It will devolve into third world status after that just like Detroit.

More denial from the left while not stating anything to support their position. Typical leftist tactic.

Perhaps if you took off your tinfoil hat and took a real look around you would see things as they actually are. If you can read Spanish.

He's raised taxes on the wealthy. I have yet to see a mass exodus by the wealthy. Trickle Down economics is in full swing in Kansas, hows that going?

That's an easy question to answer, Governor Moonbeam is a liar like most leftist loons. He plays a numbers game that he learned to do when he was Governor back during the 1970's and it earned him the title as one of the worse Governors in California's history. Those who were around in California back during the 70's remember and that's why they didn't vote for Brown back in 2010.

    The truth is...

All tax increases are put on the ballot and voter approved before being applied. California has not voted to raise taxes since 2012

The actual truth is, repeated lies have served him well over the years and, repeated often enough, you now believe. Very sheep like behavior.

    - - - Updated - - -

Yet, their tax rate has increased exponentially. Some one is not being truthful here.

This. They need to cry about democrats. It's better than taking responsibility for their failures in life.

This a thousand times over. We have a perfect example of the failure of trickle down, right wing nonsense in a state with republican supermajorities across the board. Kansas is a craphole and broke because of it. You don't see any cons making threads about that, though.

Meanwhile, Cali raises taxes on the rich and is thriving. In right wing fantasyland, a massive budget surplus is a bad thing.
