As he mentions only three dangers (or threats) currently existing and as he mentions Russia together with ISIS, one does not need to be a politician to make a conlcusion that these are the greatest theats to people.
In fact, here in forum the sityation is even worse- there are much more threads that describe the danger coming from Russia, than threads about danger coming from ME terrorists, as Markus correctly pointed out.

USA destabilized the middle east. It is the main agressor who let iraq collapse into a black hole. Which created ISIS. Which destabilized syria as well as libya. All this turmoil started the massive refugee flodd against europe.

Just because Islam is a threat does not mean that Putin isn't. Russia may not be a threat to Italy indeed but it's clearly a threat to Georgia, Ukraine, other former Soviet republics, NATO members like the Baltic states, Poland. An enemy of my enemy is not necessarily a friend. Russia has done nothing whatsoever to curb the spread of violent Islam, it is advancing its interests in Syria by propping up the regime of Assad but that has zero relevance to the global Islamic threat.

 

And? Why should it bother me that russia is a threat to Georgia and Ukraine? As an italian i couldn´t care less. I also dont care that the Zulu are enemy of the Tutsi in some african (*)(*)(*)(*)hole country.

What counts for me are hard italian interests. This and nothing more.

Fair enough.... Your original question was why others care about Russia and why are there so many threads.... And you've just provided the answer, because we are not all Italians and many of us perceive the aggressive evil empire as a threat.

 

You bviously don't understand what italian interests are... if you care about Italian interests you should care about what goes on in ukraine... Ukraine is just next to poland and romania, two EU members. What goes on there affects the EU and thus Italy. or do you think it's still the 16th century or something? We are in the 21th century. Are you not aware that Italy is part of the EU and NATO, and thus what concerns members of those two also concerns italy? Peace in Europe is in Italy's interest. Stability is in Italy's interest.

 

Good relations with russia is what is in italy interest. Membership in NATO is not in italia interest.

We should leave NATO and support Putin in getting all of ukraine, then make lucrative trade deals there and dividing it up as prey. Thats how i think.

What you propose.. would be the most retarded things italy could ever do. If Italy wanted to hurt themselves as much as they could, they would do what you want.
