I have heard in the past that Republicans and far righties told the same about Obama and so reasoned their BS militia foundings etc., eh?

 

Let me see. I heard democrats say this. However, you only heard that someone said that republicans said that.

When it comes to credibility, my bag suggestion changes nothing ... no difference between both ... Democrats and Republicans!

 

Both examples make a case for keeping our guns.

 

Because the countdown to the next US Civil War is already underway ... I know! Only the 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with it as anyone who has been involved in the matter knows!

 

Always a tell tale when someone uses " a lot " usually means they are paranoid and have no actual evidence.

Going by the cross section in this forum indicates a lot of people on the left wants all guns gone. Nobody said they had to be elected officials.

 

Actually haven't seen any of us liberals on this forum calling for confiscating all guns either. Perhaps you are confusing keeping guns away from criminals and the mentally disturbed and advocating for serious background checks on all sales as some kind of threat.

That said I do agree that if all guns magically disappeared from private hands the US would be a better/ safer place.

 

Then only the police and military would have them, how long before the government becomes tyrannical?

 

Gee I though the gun advocates were saying the military wouldn't turn on citizens and would disobey an unlawful order. You guys need to get your talking points consistant.

Tyrannical government was only one reason out of many I have stated for keeping guns in the hands of law abiding citizens. It is your paranoid fear of guns which you use to justify the removal of them.
