Why Do "Progressives" hate us?

Simple:

Progressive policy is for sh!t. When progressive policy fails, progressives need a scapegoat: conservatives.

When Blacks fail to succeed the reason is racism.
When homosexuals kill themselves the reason is homophobia.
When Muslims terrorize innocent civilians the reason is Islamophobia.

etc., etc., etc.

The greatest conservative sin is noticing that progressive ideas are for sh!t.

 

Nope you're wrong on all counts. It's conservatives who have wanted to regulate the bedroom but deregulate polluters. Your "common man" appeal is just how the conservative elites get their sheep in line. Since they've been failing in regulating the bedroom and increasingly regarding drugs conservatives are trying to appeal to nativism and racism. The common man cannot rule because the common man will simply be swayed by one elite or another. It should be the elite that isn't racist, stupid, or petty enough to regulate the bedroom like conservatives.

 

For every regulation conservatives think of leftist think of twenty. And almost all of what we do is state and local. Only the left wants to federalize every crime in the world. I'll take a couple regulations regarding outrageous public behavior at the state and local level, mostly the later, and if you want different rules in your city that's perfectly fine with me and the way it should be. Nativism isn't whats at play here if millions of people ayear tryiing to sneak in here from Canada I'd want a wall there too. Legal immigrants are just fine. We get to vet them and find out whether they're on the up and up or just more potential gang bangers. Illegal entrants not so much. And again educated elites have given us Dacau re-education camps and the Gulags and that's just last century.
Pardon me but I don't see much to choose from. Mobs at least lose there impetus and go home but Educated elites can always find a way to justify whatever God awful behavior they choose
