Uh, ok. Yes Republicans wanted freedom of the internet, at least so they claimed.

What does that have to do with the litany of companies who have specifically target right win views in an attempt to silence them from their customers.

Do you not find it hypocritical with so many businesses and groups who were demanded to "be inclusive" to all ideals?

    Restricts freedom? How?

Placing limits or regulations stops freedom, sometimes for good sometimes for bad, but of course always debatable.

Placing speed limits does not give freedom, even though many cars can handle high speeds MUCH better, while giving people who have a lesser car a form of equality.

Likewise, regulations demanding certain things, loses the freedom of individual choice in order to create fairness for those without the same means.

These are not bad things, wee need certain amounts of "socialism" in order to better meet our moral standards. One argument is that people need help and denying that help is wrong. One side thinks giving too much ruins those peoples desire to work themselves and that doing so puts them in an "endless cycle of poverty" which is morally wrong.

Debate them all you like, but social programs are a form of authoritarianism, not freedom.

Ahh yes, that horrible, tyrannical lack of net neutrality you had from the creation of the internet until 2015, which since its repeal has shown the left's conspiratorial claims to be complete nonsense.

    That old canard.

Please note the bailout of Wallstreet, banks, and corporations under Obama.

Neo liberal progressivism is for individual freedom?

Is that what you call your party's stance on globalism, the very wealthy, China, open borders, and internationalism?

Strange that you bothered to repeat the GOP conspiracy canard about net neutrality but that was your choice.

The reality is that the changes are incremental as opposed to all at once. You have probably received notifications of changes to "terms of service" that you could not be bothered to read in detail. Hidden within that legalese is you giving your tacit consent to having your access to content from other providers "capped" or "restricted" or "billed" against your "data plan".

Doesn't sound like anything significant but that is intentional. By the time it starts to bite it will be too late for you to complain.
