I lived on nothing but salad and grilled chicken for 20 years. I was 6' 2" and 240 pounds. I was sick of eating rabbit food so I started eating cheeseburgers and steak. Now I'm 265 - 270 pounds.
I'm a bit if a health nut now that I'm retired and find that it's amazing how little I need to eat to stay the same weight. The human body is an incredibly efficient machine and in this land of plenty it's easy to overindulge
Walking around Republican rallies, you see people mostly in shape. Go to DNC rallies and you'll find that everyone is fat. Really really fat. I think it's all the stress eating since Trump became President
Noncity? Impoverished inner cities have huge rates of obesity. What are you talking about. Gentrifying childless, urban hipsters? No, they tend to be thinner. And once they settle down and start planning for kids, they usually move to the burbs. Couples with children in hipster enclaves are a rarity.
Only because you wanted Obamacare and that was one of the arguments against it. Government would soon start mandating behavior because your health cost society x amount of dollars.
LOL!!!! health insurance means healthy folks pay the bills for sick folks. been this way for decades.
If you buy private insurance your health is taken into account with the premiums you pay. If for instance you have type 2 diabetes your insurance rates will reflect that but mine will remain unchanged. With Obama care your diabetes makes my premium go up.
no premiums can ever make up the massive cost of care for lung cancer, heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, high blood pressure, etc healthy folks pay for the care of sick folks. thats how it is
Not my experience at all. I see no difference where you somehow see a difference. People in LA do not walk. You ever been there? City dwellers especially in the east are hostile, but it did not used to be like this long ago. So what is up with that? They are not the kind of people I would ever willingly choose to live around. You can live in an apt. in such a city and never even know the guy who lives next door. How antisocial and sick is that? Yet long ago in a urban neighborhood the people knew other people and talked with them.
Actually things like that save tax payers money because those people die younger and don't stay on SS or Medicare as long.
Heh, the ignorance of "progressive" city dwellers never ceases to amaze and amuse me. I live in the country and most of us are in great shape on account of the physical activity associated with our jobs and life style.
Ever see pictures of welfare line wait to get food stamps and other freebie? They are lined up around the block, about 6 to a block. It looks like the all state team of waddle waddle quack quack!!!!!
There a tendency for jogger types to think anyone with twenty extra pounds is fat but in reality they are often more healthy than the emaciated jogger
People in rural areas are more likely to be married and have children. They aren't as concerned with looking "****able" to the nightclub crowd.
