There needs to be proper respect, reverence, and devotion in this nation.

 

That's the way I feel about the Stars and Stripes. It's the flag of genocide and should be barred from all flagpoles. I like the Confederate Flag. It represents resistance to the federal govt.

 

The hatred of the Confederacy for the federal govt. has been reborn in many hearts over the last few years. Once I loathed the confederacy. Now I share its hatred for the federal govt. Times change. That which was old shall be new again.

The South had no chance. Even if they had succeeded in surviving, they would have failed in the end. The South had no viable economy.

 

it represents a failed rebellion that almost tore this nation in two. What it was about is irrelevant. The union won.

 

If the Confederate Flag represents injustice, then so too does Old Glory. There is no escaping the fact that Old Glory was the flag of genocide. When you salute Old Glory you are supporting a history of genocide that was never rectified.

I sort of like the Confederate Flag because of the antipathy I've developed toward Uncle Sam.

 

What is shameful about it?
Southern farmers who were getting stepped on by the Northerner dominated federal government rose up against it and despite being out-numbered and out-gunned fought for 4 years and at one point came very close to winning.
