UH-OH...I have been told to Stand Down.

Right now I should be at Ramstein Air Base having a drink with some pilots of the 86th Airlift Wing and then perhaps eating some bad food in the officers mess.

Instead I have just gotten home after being on hold all day and then being told to Stand Down as my ...JOB...has been placed on Indefinite Hold.

This is BAD....really BAD.

For those who might not know if I and my Team are sent in to do a...JOB...it is and always has been to communicate to certain groups or people that me being there and meeting with them is a LAST CHANCE AND EFFORT....to resolve an issue in a peaceful manner.

The fact I will not even be going now....as much as being home for Labor Day Weekend appeals to me....means that something has happened that has taken a certain option...ME...Off the Table.

The ONLY thing I can gather from this is the Military Option has been given a GO.

Now I NEVER thought it would come to this and I guess that I should have listened to my Spider Sense which has been Buzzing ever since a certain U.S. President made a certain issue into a Policy.

At this point there really isn't anything for me or anyone else to do unless a certain Dictator comes to his senses and steps down.

That would save a lot of lives and over the next couple of days you will see on TV certain people in the Middle East talk with a lot of Bravado and Proud Defiant Words.

Probably the last words they will ever speak.

When I was watching the news and heard that Obama PUBLICLY stated that the U.S. would be supplying the Syrian Rebels with arms....I almost fell out of my chair.

Everyone and anyone involved in Intel. was screaming WHAT THE F#@%!

The reason everyone was so P!$$@# OFF was there was already a plan in action to supply Russian Made weapons to the Syrian Rebels and doing it this way would keep the focus off the U.S....allow Syria's own people to straighten things out...and we would not have to involve U.S. Military Forces.

Now I HONESTLY THOUGHT that there was NO WAY that we were going in and when I was asked to go into the region I figured we were going to work a deal.

Very Early this morning while I was eating some GOD awful Scrambled Eggs that a Base Chef was nice enough....or mean enough to make for me....I end up getting a message to HOLD...and wait for orders.

Now let me explain something....I DO NOT TAKE ORDERS!!!

I am..."CIVILIAN"....and I was ASKED to go.

But my ride to get there is NOT something I can control so I waited.

And...waited....and waited....and more waiting.

Finally I am told my...JOB...has been put on Indefinite Hold.

This has...NEVER...happened before and I really do not understand why I am not going....unless....

Ivan....I am a Patriot and always will be one....but that doesn't mean I will blindly take orders or believe something I have been told.

The reason I can even post on this forum is because they figure I will only talk about what will actually happen and it is in EVERYONE'S interest that people understand just what we are prepared to do.

Now I cannot stress how important it is for certain people to understand that we intend to perform certain action. It is an issue that often occurs that a U.S. Leader will say something and be ignored by others as they think....Well...he is just SAYING that....they are not actually going to do that.

But if certain people...KNOW...WITH 100% CERTAINTY....that we intend to follow through....NOBODY IN THEIR RIGHT MIND....is going to tempt fate and go on TV and say..."We will Fight Them to the Death!".....because if they do....DEATH is what they will get.

I believe you. But I would remind you that this "Assad must go" mantra everyone keeps saying is what's destroying any chance of peace. A ceasefire should be first, and then negotiate the future for the Syrian people.

And the USA has the choice whether or not to go to war or not, irrespective of what Assad does or doesn't.

Every now and then the U.S. Military might make a mistake and this is usually because some A$$#@%! POLITICIAN....has decided to micromanage the situation and because of this Soldiers die.

But when things turn serious like they are now....a mistake here and there will not matter.

What I will now say has nothing to do with my being a Patriot of the fact I live in Massachusetts....or because on occasion I do....JOBS.

There is not a single country, military, force, group or entity that can defeat a properly coordinated U.S. Military Action.

It just cannot be done.

We learned many lessons from Vietnam and one of them is....if your going to invade....do so with overwhelming force.....and if any country or group or military interferes...DESTROY THEM.

Now for the LIFE of me I still do not understand why what is going on is going on....unless there is more to it than I know.

Now I have been thinking about this since 1:45 AM when I and my Team were put on Hold....and I have only come to ONE possible reason why.

I will tell you what I worry about.

Right now Islamic Extremists in the Middle East have a VERY hard time finding anyone to support them be it money or a place to operate.

The reason for this is all countries in the region blame these Extremists for bringing EVEN MORE American Military Forces into the region and these countries and their leadership do not wish to have this whole thing happen again which they know if it does....could end VERY BADLY FOR THEM.

Now...we should have just let the CIA handle things but if we do go in...we had better go Full Force and not screw around.

At this point that is the best advice I have left to give.

Listen mister, I have no idea who you are or what you do, but I can tell you that right now everyone's eyes all over the world are on Syria, and on what the US does (or doesn't do) in Syria.

It is abundantly clear by now that the United States of American is arming, funding, and training terrorists in Syria and elsewhere. The hypocrisy of that, in the context of a "war on terror" is so overwhelming that not even the dimmest bulb in the room could fail to see it. The only people actually failing to see it are American partisans who've got their head so far up their party's butt they can't see daylight anymore.

And meanwhile, we have the AUMF, the NDAA, ..... Brandon Raub.....

This will not stand. The American People will wake up, and once they do, they won't stand for this.

We the People, will not stand for a tyrannical American government. Some may continue watching TV, but others will leave, and other will simply stop paying their taxes, and others will lash out with some kind of "corrective violence" or however they perceive that equation....

What I'm trying to say is, I'm not worried about what's going to happen in Syria.

Now....YOU may consider me Heartless and Cold....but there are a lot of people breathing who do not and I can honestly say I NEVER acted unless I had to.

Do you know why I chose to...for over 3 decades....do...JOBS?

I CHOSE to do this because I did not trust the people who at the time I was first....courted....to do these...JOBS properly.

They attempted to mold me and attempted to get me in certain programs which I refused and I NEVER have signed ANYTHING to legally hold me and to this day I still have not done this.

EVERYTHING....that I will agree to do is done by HANDSHAKE....and I am allowed this courteous only for one reason....I am BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD AT DOING MY JOB.
