Well D-Wave is coming out with a 10,000 Quibit Quantum Processor and far exceeds the human brains processing capability.

Ya, very cool (and I mean cool! It requires significant cooling!!) Processing speed is amazing.....lots of potential here.

    Speaking of cooling......

Near death experiencer and former Atheist Mellen Benedict reported that

we humans have something that he termed an "over soul" for lack of a better
    phrase to describe it.

AboveAlpha.... what do you think of the idea that we humans may have some sort

of higher dimensional energetic hard drive connected to us.......

that may be mostly operating at a much higher level of energy.....

in a higher dimension of space - time at......

a temperature that gets closer and closer to zero Kelvin?

Obviously this will remind you of energy from Quantum Vacuum.

One of the characteristics of humans......
that make us so dangerous .....

seems to be our lack of understanding of how something resembling......
infinite work - effort.... .went into the multiverse / universe....

A near death experiencer reports being shown about a young whippersnapper......
Lucifer.... who was brilliant.... but was young..... and had no idea of how much work
    went into planets.... and stars......

so this young arch-Angel.... did not mind leading an attempted coup... that
may have resulted in an astonishing amount of death and destruction of
fourth.... perhaps even fifth... .dimensional space - time life forms.......

    http://www.politicalforum.com/relig...ichard-eby-verifies-old-earth-gap-theory.html

NDE of Dr. Richard Eby verifies old earth and gap theory.

I was impressed with the explanation given for the fall of Lucifer which would quite possibly fit with an earth that may well be 4.5 billion years old.

Apparently a lot happened between the original creation of the earth and the time when the repairing of the earth was made necessary due to an attempted coup d'etat by Lucifer and the angels who decided to follow him!!

The point of the article wasn't that it isn't stored, it's just not in bits and bytes or some format that may be readable and transferrable through any sort of data processing mechanism.

I am also a lucid dreamer. I have unusually high delta waves when awake and easily fall into a dream state. While I have an excellent memory, I don't generally remember the tiniest details about things. My experiences tend toward visionary and awareness.

On the other hand, I have a BIL who is not a lucid dreamer but does have eidetic memory. He not only remembers the tiniest details, he can sketch landscapes that match reality completely from memory. He would draw the bill referred in the article perfectly. I would not, though I would do it better than most of his students. I don't know if you can draw, but you probably retain your experience well enough that you would replicate the bill near perfectly if you can draw.

So what does this have to do with the article? The point was that the brain of an individual is actually quite unique and may not have an operating system in the sense of a computer. The way it "stores" information may be far more experiential. For you, details become a huge part of that experience and you remember them well. For me, it's ideation and possibilities. I don't really experience what is, but what could be. Anyway, hope you are using your gifts!

Well I think that all the Hadrons...ie...Protons, Neutrons and also Pions but just the first 2 in this case....that comprise the atoms that make up our brains are exchanging and sharing Virtual Quark/Antiquark pairings between all the Hardons that make up the brains of our duplicates existing in all the other Divergent Universal States of Reality.in a Multiversal system.

Thus our consciousness might in reality be connected and part of an overall shared collective consciousness.

    I try.

I am fairly certain the human brain operates in a quantum computational manner and this is not being done only within a single brain but in conjunction with all our duplicates in a Multiversal System.

So just like Quibit.....we have Quantum Indeterminacy.

    Wow!

I have got to quote this phenomenal and so concise explanation over into the

I'm not sure if it was The Book of Enoch or Secrets of Enoch....

but there was a section where Enoch... .in an out of the body experience....

met with the "Gregori" (if I remember the name correctly)......

Their heads and faces appeared very old but their bodies appeared youthful and
    very strong.........

Edgar Cayce stated that over the past perhaps several million years five Adam and Eve pairs had been
    put on earth......

and each time human life destroyed itself......

The Gregori may have been from another time line where mankind became
so technologically advanced that A. I. and humans were combined.......

Rise of the machines? LOL! Not yet. Not for a while. We could just use EMP on them, and they are toast.

    Yes......
Japan is way ahead of North America in this......
the base model is around a thousand dollar US based on an article that was posted in one of these discussions.......(possibly somewhere in this exact thread)......

I am asking if any AI's can handle the illogical algorithms of a human female for interaction..??

I haven't researched this topic enough yet to know the answer to that........
but I will see what I can find out..........

In the mean time..... a Dr. Gary Smalley wrote a book entitled "For Better or For Best" and I found that it was the best self help psychology book
to help me to understand my two ex wives... and my third wife..... who is spectacular!!!!!

"I am not worthy....... I am not worthy..... I am not worthy!!!!"

There is no such thing as artificial intelligence. A computer will only do what it's programmed.
If man doesn't destroy each other first we might get there. However it is of my opinion with everything going on around the world, that ww3 will happen first, Jesus will come and that's it.

If AI does emerge, I think it will be from multitudes of systems coordinating, much the way our cells do, and possibly emerge quite accidentally.

We already have a constructed legal person, in the form of a corporate business, which coordinates individual humans and equipment. I would suggest the legal corporate is analogous to simple multi-cellular life. It can grow, consume and multiply but cannot think.

As we move decisions about the allocation of capital into "black box" algorithms , we have given the corporate entity "senses" to stimuli in a simple, automated behavioural reward mechanism.

The next progression would be for these or similar entities becoming self aware, that is for the humans, assets and data of the entity to coordinate beyond the entity's self-preservation and growth, to a recognition of self.

Would we even be aware that this has happened? If we are but cells in this unnatural organism, why or how would we know whether it had become self-aware? There is no reason to assume it would recognise us as sentient beings.

If your unaware what is taken place in the world right now, perhaps you should check. For A.I. cannot happen if man destroys themselves first.

Yep, go ahead and drop all nuclear bombs, why, because we're all going to die anyways. Such a great attitude.

I've been playing computer strategy games for 35 years and haven't yet seen a game where the enemy AI gives me a hard time. Any comp gamer will tell you the same thing, beating the AI is like candy off a baby..:)

For artificial intelligence to exist, you would have to create something as complex as the human brain. We don't even begin to understand how that works, let alone being able to create anything nearly as complex. We don't even have a clue why self awareness exists in the first place.
