    I would have much rather had that. However, trump won so i'll just be critical of all the stupid things he does whilst people like you defend his idiocy. Should be a fun four years.

    Good for you! That doesn't change what I said. What percentage of the country served under him; a small fraction of one percent.

    Trump is definitely staffing with Generals. He must be planning to start a war. Too bad he doesn't plan to honor the deeply held principle of civilian control of the military. But then American values and principles have never been important to Trump.

    I don't know him personally, I was in the Army years ago, not in the Marines when he was in charge.

    What I like about him is solid reputation as a warfighter, superior leader, a student of history, he is great listener and should hopefully not make the same mistakes that Bush and Obama did.

    If you know anything about Sir General Frost from 1st Para----then you can better understand the caliber and qualities of Mattis---as Sir Frost was not nearly the leader Mattis is.

    It sounds like he needs 60 votes to get the job since he hasn't been out of the military the required amount of time. That should put an end to his chances as Dems are already on TV vowing not to let him have the position.

    You told me to leave? I must have missed that part through all of your lol's and lmfao's. I thought I was reading a text from a 12 yr old. Just because you may have scrubbed pots and pans while Mattis was Centcom doesn't mean much. The Army did all the heavy lifting anyways.
