Girlies, ladies, and women are such emotional and romantic creatures.

On Saturday mornings I am only thinking about waffles and bacon, not love songs.

I like "Wagon Train" the most of all the old western shows on TV.

Since I live in the Rocky Mountains and since it was populated by wagon companies coming here as well as going on, to California and Oregon, I can relate.

When I moved here last year I drove my SUV pulling a U-Haul trailer and my cat was in the cargo area of my SUV behind a pet fence divider. He got to sit and watch the countryside go by. I put ice from my ice chest into his water bowl so he could have a refreshing drink occasionally. He was a good kitty the whole trip. He would not eat anything until we got home finally though.

The kitty likes it here more because there are more fields for him to explore and more mice for him to catch and eat. He catches the birds here too as well. Sometimes I find a feather pile outside. But usually he brings home a fresh field mouse that he has caught and plays with it before it gets away from him eventually.

I was listening to a playlist and that was one of the songs. I had to laugh because first thing I thought was, lots of luck trying to hide this crazy. Ahahahaha

Now Im thinking about waffles and bacon with maple syrup and butter. Skip the fruit. Ill take the extra bacon. Im not proud. Ahahaha

I normally scramble eggs then wrap them up in a flour tortilla for my breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays.

I think there was a lot of doom and gloom back when Nixon was elected too.

Everyone finally got over it but it took the threat of impeachment to do it.

@Smartmouthwoman does not like political talk in her Bar & Grille though so I will leave it at that.

The Nation always survives. Even when the elected officials seem really out of place.

I do that on my high carb day. Sometimes I scramble them with chopped hot peppers and chorizos. Incredibly good, and you can eat it on the run.

Eggs are virtually all protein. Other than the tortilla shell I don't see a lot of carbs in that. More like a balanced meal with protein, vegies, carbs, and some fat.

Carbs are not bad for you.In fact, that is the first thing your body
burns up.Many little old Italian Ladies lived very long lives eating
LOTS pasta.Pasta is basically ALL carbohydrates.
Like Flour used in most all breads Carbs have been demonized.
It may be due to the malicious outbreak of Type II Diabetes.
But that obviously has more to do with Junk foods and too much
sugar.Yes,give up all breads and stuff like Pasta and you'll probably
lose weight. But that does not mean you'll have a better quality of life.
You will probably feel weaker and may develop depression.
Again ... I go back to Little Old Ladies who eat stuff like bread and
butter. Many of whom live long and satisfied lives.
We now know that Butter is NOT bad for you.
    Oleo or Margarine IS.

It is a good balanced meal, but I avoid grains, sugar and starch 6 days a week. Tom Ferriss developed the diet and it has worked for me.
It would probably be perfect for a diabetic, but they would have to skip the carb binge day, and that would really suck.

Hot out there, so vegging out on tv and ac this afternoon. Watching Catfish on MTV. Anybody ever watch that show? They get people together who fall in love online. Catfish are people who deceive by using somebody elses pic, etc. Fascinating look at a society created by technology. :pc:

The diet only eliminates the fast carbs. Beans are okay. The diet is very satisfying if you can cook. Protein, fat, beans, rutabagas, spinach, Kale some selected cheeses etc. The theory is to keep glucose from spiking. I can do heavy labor on it without any problems. It feels good, but it is not easy for anyone who is not a good cook.
Google it. Ferriss is a fascinating character. Crazy, of course. Won the kickboxing championship in China by exploiting their rules. They were really charmed by that. ;-)

Amazingly enough, some have been in 'relationships' for 5-7 years. They can contact this show and if chosen, the object of their online affection is tracked down and exposed... and theyre given a face to face meeting.

Easy to deceive people online. Seems like a lotta work to me. LOL

That makes sense. So after the deception is exposed the game is over.

Yes, over or beginning. Some work out, but most end with one party crushed because they gave their heart to somebody who didnt really exist.

    Love is hard. ;)

i feel like my quality of life is good after i eat this because it is very cheap for a complete meal and the dessert treats depression.

italians live long in italy because they are able to pursue happiness in my opinion.

I am curious. What kind of chicken do you have? Mine were barred rocks and golden lace wyandottes. It took them about 6 months to lay and some nearly 7 months. Slow layers I guess...lol

I only load up on carbs before a long run or long bicycle ride.

Otherwise I keep carbs to a minimum.

I keep proteins to a minimum too because of gout in my early old age.

So vegies and fruits are the truly good foods.

Plus milk. I love milk. Always have.

I only have 3 hens and a rooster until I build a bigger enclosure. They are all 4 1/2 months old. I think the barred rock is the only one laying. I'm still waiting on the Rhode Island Red and the Ameraucana to pay the rent. My roo is a Speckled Sussex. After 2 1/2-3 months, I switched from chick starter to adult feed with oyster shells.

I want to get a variety of Wyandottes next month if I finish the enclosure. I think 10 will be my max.
