Veteran NSA and CIA analysts rip apart the Russian conspiracy theory here: https://consortiumnews.com/2017/09/20/more-holes-in-russia-gate-narrative/ Snip: The ongoing U.S. media campaign against Russia has been so effective that otherwise intelligent people have been unable even to entertain the notion that they may have been totally misled by the intelligence community. The last time this happened in 2003, after a year of such propaganda, the U.S. attacked Iraq on fraudulent – not “mistaken” – intelligence. Anticipating resistance from those allergic to rethinking “what everybody knows” about Russian “meddling,” we based our VIPS analysis on forensic investigations that, oddly, the FBI had bent over backwards to avoid. In other words, we relied on the principles of physics and the known capability of the Internet in early July 2016. We stand by our main conclusion that the data from the intrusion of July 5, 2016, into the Democratic National Committee’s computers, an intrusion blamed on “Russian hacking,” was not a hack but rather a download/copy onto an external storage device by someone with physical access to the DNC. Some primary questions as follows: 1) Was the DNC hacked by one of its own? 2) What degree of credibility remains with those who insist that significant Russian intrusion occurred and/or impacted the election. 3) Are those who invest in this alleged intrusion damaging our country with these ongoing concerns?
1) entirely possible 2) extreme suspicion whenever Russian hacking is brought up in discussions about the election 3) Trump is ba-a-a-a-ad ba-a-a-a-ad.
Interesting that this important analysis is being largely ignored by the MSM. Is the MSM colluding with Russia to destroy Trump???
It's interesting - to put it mildly - that Mueller hasn't talked to, or even attempted to talk to, Assange. The only smoking gun is in Mueller's hand, as he appears to be one of the cronies doing Russia's bidding in trying to tear a legitimately elected president down.
What a sad stupid joke this thread is. The facts are that a tighter noose is forming around the criminals such as Manafort. Hopefully Jr. and sonny in law will be next.
His failure to interview Assange is a simple and clear demonstration that finding the truth is NOT part of Mueller's agenda.
The witch hunt continues. Russia Truthers are like... please just find some kind of crime. We don't care at this point if you can't tie it to the Russia lie.
I think smart people have thought this for some time and Robert Mueller stopped looking for a Russian angle almost as soon as he was appointed Grand Inquisitor of the witch hunt. Only the mouth breathing true believers are still waiting for Trump to be taken to the gallows for his involvement with Russian hackers.
<--- Must... Blame... Russia... Nobody buys it. It's stupid. Everyone sees the Russia lie for what it is. An excuse for Hillary's 1.2 billion dollar campaign loss. Because it was Russia's fault, all the same DNC types will still be there in 2018/2020. And that is AWESOME!!!!
You should stop posting nonsense and get a clue. There is little doubt that many American officials would love to interview Assange on a variety of subjects, especially the f**king Russians. However, if Assange doesn't want to talk to them, it won't happen for reasons made clear below. https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2017/08/21/julian-assange-a-man-without-a-country Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. He has not left the Embassy since he sought asylum there, in June, 2012 ...Assange is not an easy man to get on the phone, let alone to see in person. He is protected by a group of loyal staffers and a shroud of organizational secrecy. One friend compared him to the central figure in Philip K. Dick’s “The Man in the High Castle”—a recluse trying to reset the course of history. In many ways, the Embassy has become a surreal redoubt: a place of extreme seclusion in the center of a bustling world capital; a protective stronghold that few can enter, even though it is the target of millions of dollars’ worth of covert surveillance.
Assange must be willing to be interviewed. It's his choice, no one can force him. Do you really think American officials, from a variety of agencies haven't tried to interview him?
The perfect response you would expect from a bot. Facts are I didn't care for Clinton either nor did I vote for her
That's really a practical suggestion! Just kidding, and so I suppose you are too. In case you didn't know, he's been imprisoned inside the Embassy of Ecuador in London, taking diplomatic immunity from a trumped-up witch hunt. He is an enemy of the state because he has exposed the crimes of government.
