Anyone who bothers to have the slighest understanding of polls will know that margin of error is important. All anyone has to do is actually read the poll and how they are is conducted. Margin of error is available for every poll for anyone willing to make the slightest effort.

And no missing by 1.1% s not missing badly. The only real issue is the pollsters should have made margin of error statements to educate the statistically uneducated.

 

The only time Trump comports himself well is when he reads from the teleprompter. He has made America a laughingstock on the world stage and blown the North Korea issue. His only sucess is ISIS and that is because he hasn't ruined what Obsma set up.

Hillary lost. I don't know what universe you reside in, but in my universe, Hillary lost. This thread is about how wrong the polls were.

As for 3 million more votes, that margin came exclusively from CA (and nationally, from illegally cast votes). Trump won the popular vote in the other 49 states. We have a Republic and a electoral college to prevent one state from tyrannizing the others.

 

The polls were correct. Clinton won by 3 million votes and the "illegal votes" thing is simply Trump saying stupid shyt.

No. The polls showing Hillary with large margins were only for stupid people who are followers and easily fooled. Those polls convinced them Hillary would win which helped to pad her popular vote numbers but if the polls were accurate they would have shown Trump ahead and he would have gotten the vote Hillary got...that of stupid people who want to belong because they voted for Hillary because they thought she was the winner. The last minute deciders break for who they think is the winner. They are stupid and led by the nose by the lying media.

One poll consistently had Trump ahead in the polls most of the time...The LA Times Poll. I think they were right all along. But again, the fake news media with their fake polls convinced stupid people who want to vote for the winner to vote for Hillary by skewing the polls in her favor.

And, lets be clear:
Had the election turned on the popular vote, Hillary, who did not win a majority of the popular vote, still loses.

 

I think because when push came to shove - Clinton was a known quantity (and none too impressive). Whereas Trump - as a politician - was an unknown commodity.
So, lots of Americans who were planning to vote for Clinton changed their minds and took a chance on the unknown instead of the mediocre known.

That is my guess.
