    Never wrong funny.gif

With just hours to go until the polls close on Election Day, pollsters and predictors have released their final maps of the 2016 election—and most agree that Hillary Clinton will win, but no one agrees by how much.

    Nate Silver and FiveThirtyEight
Clinton - 301 Electoral college votes

    Larry Sabato
    Clinton - 322 EC votes

    Rothenberg & Gonzales
Clinton - 323 Electoral College votes

    Moody’s Analytics -
Clinton - 332 Electoral College votes

    Los Angeles Times -
Clinton - 352 Electoral College votes

    http://time.com/4561625/electoral-college-predictions/

These predictions were made just prior to the election, long after Russia/Comey.
What Clinton got was 232 Electoral College votes.

So you think the polling data is phony but you are using polling data to make your claims. Pretty illogical.

Whst part of the difference between polls and predictions by pollsters do you fail to comprehend. I know it's complicated but do try.

You can in no way substantiate this claim. And you know that.

You should probably stop making this claim, since you've been called on it already, and you can in no way substantiate it. It just makes you look silly.

These are the polls. The names attached are the pollsters and their companies. They based their predictions on polls. No wonder you guys lost so badly.

It's a common spelling error but looser means 'less tight'. It's loser. Every president but 1, was elected by the Electoral college. But please continue to whine about it for the next several years.

No what he posted was the opinion of polsters not the polls in the post I answered. The opinion of polling companies is different from poll results. Those opinion were based on what the polsters thought the polls showed. . That said the polls did get it wrong but not by much as the election got closer. And the undeniable fact from looking at the polls and even reading the OP was that the Russian leaks and Comey memo massively moved public opinion in Trump's favor.

Precisely, because one quick look at the polls shows that they were highly inaccurate and off by much more than the margin of error in many cases.

An investigation will substantiate the claim. That is why we have investigations.

It is being investigated by a commission. But are you trying to say that there is no voter fraud? Because I can show you voter fraud. Prove there is no voter fraud. That is a claim you cannot substantiate.

No. I'm saying when you make the claim that "millions of illegals voted for Clinton" you can in no way substantiate that claim. You've been called on it, and know you can't. So continuing to make the claim, makes you look silly.

You use words to hide the evidence - does the word obfuscate ring a bell?

There Was Bias Among The Pollsters. Or the predictors if you prefer. ;)

You remind me of the guy who claims a cold and rainy year was just the weather
and not disputing Man Made Global Warming.
It's the diff between weather and climate.

Why not be responsible and claim a race was "too close to call"?
    Because the media supported Hillary.

Sorry but you haven't made any case that there was bias amongst the pollsters. But you are certainly entitled to your uninformed opinion.

    Duh - Uh

The case is in how badly they missed the mark.
    Not barely, but badly.

And what we experienced from the media fostering Hillary along before the election.

    The Duck Rule.
If it walks like a duck.
If it quakes like a duck.
    It's a duck!

That is the claim the OP was trying to make. Unfortunatly the actual data shows that the polls shifted dramatically as the election got close and in fact that while the last sets of polls did predict a Clinton win the poll results were within the margin of error and not really off by very much.

Even the poolsters admit the results were off and a lot of effort is being expended to figure put why. That said a miss by 1.1 percent is hardly missing badly. The fact that Republicans have a need to pretend polls don't mean anything is obviously driven by a need for self delusion as a response to the fact that Trimps polls are at records lows for any President in history.

Check out these predictions, many the day before the election. The pollsters were so wrong, everyone was predicting a Hillary Clinton landslide.

He won because people thought he was somehow a political outsider who had nothing to do with politics. This is complete BS. He was one of the biggest lobbyists in the US. He spent years, and millions of dollars to buy political favors, such as getting them to help him steal peoples' land using eminent domain. He is close friends with many political insiders and knows how to work the system.

The difference is, he pretends to be an outsider whenever he is talking with most voters. He is a fake populist. He says whatever he knews the people in a room want to hear. If he is talking to a bunch of far right voters, he is far right. When he is talking to a bunch of far left voters, he is far left. When he is talking with wall street moguls, he is one of them. He has no real political or social ideals.

He won because the DNC and MSM conspired to nominate Hillary, the only person on the planet that could not beat him.

Well this opinion of yours has nothing to do with why the polls got it so wrong. Looking at how he's governed for his first 10 months however, he is at least doing all he can to keep his promises, he's shown flexibility to reach across the isles to work with both parties, and he's doing a good job on the issues. He's met with many political leaders from other nations and has comported himself well. Despite the doom and gloom dire predictions of the punditry and late night comedians, he's been doing a good job.
