Too late by then. A single depression can release 5 bullets.
His finger may also have instantly tightened or he may have fell onto it putting more weight on the trigger.

    The headless chicken response.
Cut the head off a chicken and watch the body run around. Not relax.

To disconnect the brain from the nervous system takes a bullet to a specific area of the brain or the spinal column. What happens to the rest of the nervous system when you disconnect the brain, is anybodies guess.

Rambo is just a movie. Actual death tends not to be instantaneous like that.

It is very rare indeed for the body to go instantly limp.
In my experience about 1 in every 50 kills. Perhaps less.
    Pleasing when it happens.

If it jammed all 30 bullets should have been fired. Not just 5.
Who knows how many bullets were in the magasine? Not me.
Was it set to single shot, burst fire or automatic, again, I have no idea.

I see no reason to believe that 5 rounds from a machine gun is the result of anything more than a simple trigger pull. It is what the gun is designed to do, when all is said and done.

I can't promise you that is what actually happened. I wasn't there.

black Americans are Americans and that gives their opinions on American issues more value than it does coming from a foreigner

In the cse of foreigners there are mixed feelings I’m sure

When you want something from us - which has been often since WWII - you hold your nose and somehow manage to tolerate us ok

When I was in I do not remember them needing college degrees. But most did take online courses. I never hung out with the team members much they spent most of their time doing their own thing either in the team room or out doing dome sort of train. I was assigned to the MID 2nd battalion, 3rd AVG, good duty for a private. No inspection, pay day class A b's or marching in formation, even got to pt on my own. Got to do some neat stuff with them.

They absolutely do not require degrees to become 18 series (Special Forces). But if it's mission-specific, it's possible the courses they take translate to degrees. Unfortunately, that's out of our pay grade to know.

Green Beret's require a high school diploma.

You really do have it back to front. It’s the Americans who are naïve, so you can’t fault them. They know nothing. But “their government agencies” as you call them are NOT naïve at all. Theirs’ is plotted treachery every step of the way. If you have any hatred you ought to reserve it for them and for that reason.

It is good to know about your beliefs in case we end up in a discussion together. Personally, I don't believe people should be killing each other. I have 5 kids and do not believe there is anything "over there" worth one of their lives.

Yes, I understand. I mean nothing personal against you. The thing is that the US (with its henchmen NATO) are responsible for more death and mayhem all round the globe. I do not take kindly hearing Americans slandering everyone "abroad" particularly as it is the US that is causing all of the trouble. Me saying that I would rather see Americans kill one another back home is in response to it. I am from Europe and I have heard the term "Eurotrash" from Americans enough. If Americans cannot take rightful criticism against them then they ought to stop dishing it out to everyone else. We are not in the US making trouble but the US is over here. In other words, "Better them than us."

I hear ya. My response was to a comment that painted all SEALS with a broad stroke. I feel the same about those who paint Europeans, Americans, etc with a broad stroke. Not all Americans want their sons and daughters going abroad to fight. Some who would call you a name like Euro-trash is really saying more about themselves. Maybe the world would be better off if everyone just went back home! IDK

We only "slander" other people abroad, because we're better than everyone else.

Americans per se don't make foreign policy, politicians do, and it's them I hate because they always f**k up and cause death, mutilations and untold misery by . . . and get this?? . . . supporting the wrong side in conflicts. [IMG]Mind your own effing business, because contrary to what you might arrogantly believe, you - by which I mean your leaders whom you voted into office?? - patently do NOT know what's best for other nationals.

You make a good point, bob, because indeed it has frequently occurred to me that the breathtaking f**k-ups they keep making can't possibly be down to incompetence, so your summation could well be right - it isn't incompetence, it's all agenda-driven. So I ask again - WTF has happened to America?

Navy SEALS are a complete joke.

My impression of them is that they kill Green Berets and rape female subordinates.

    The Navy SEALS? :roflol:

You asked. The answer is in this man’s “disappointment”: The destruction of ‘balance’.

IN ADDITION: Referring to how the military can control politicians, especially when referring military-industrial complex he said,

“God help any man who sits behind this desk who doesn't know the military like I do.”
    Dwight D. Eisenhower
