There should be a new abortion law, the left loves new laws and should support it 100%. The new law would be-------------when a woman get an abortion, she would name the father, and he would pay a fine. The money would be used for children put up for adoption.
I'm sure that your conservative colleagues would appreciate having to accept financial accountability.
The way it is now is that men do the wham bam thank you mam and walk out the door. That leaves the woman to deal with the consequences. Who can argue with the fact that its about time for men to accept some responsibility. Maybe a large fine would cause them to step in and accept the responsibility for the life they helped create, and marry the woman so she might not have an abortion?
MORALITY translates into ethical responsibility towards others, implying SINCERE empathetic responses, NOT HYPOCRISY. The conservative consensus on previous threads is that WOMEN should shoulder the burden of responsibility for pregnancies due to irresponsible sex. . . . QUIT MAKING THIS STUFF UP.
Men do need to accept EQUAL accountability and react responsibly by making mutually acceptable agreements.
Wow...seriously WOW. In case you are not aware of it, condoms don't always work as intended. Accidents do happen.
Even if used PERFECTLY condoms have a 2% failure rate. That means for every one hundred women two will have unwanted pregnancies Of course the usual use has a far higher failure rate mostly because it is the make of the species in charge of it
The only way you will stop this is to make it mandatory that all men put a sperm donation into a sperm bank and then get sterilised Then they will have to petition for the right to father children Boom! No more unwanted pregnancies
If she's not responsible enough to use birth control what makes you think she knows the name of the guy she slept with?
Yeah sure--------------------mainly those type of men say too bad *itch, I thot you were on the pill. Im outta here.
I don't even have an opinion on the overall idea, just seemed like you were using a poor methodology to reject it, that of a 2% failure rate.
