    The problem is that the hard right digs in over the most outrageous conspiracy theories and ugly accusations and they can't go anywhere from there.

    Its like Trump and his birther nonsense.. Instead of keeping a cool head and looking into such claims and reading the statutes, they wind up looking like fools and alienating everyone ... So their comeback for that it to reject education as "librul".

    Same thing has happened with Trump's claim to restore coal mining jobs.

    Onus is entirely on the alt right to PROVE that the memo's that Comey leaked were "prejudicial to the safety or interest of the United States".

    Item (c) indicates that Comey was just preempting the expectation that Congress would ask for those memos, which they did, thereby justifying his actions in leaking them.

    Yes there was. Mike Rogers uncovered it and told the Trump campaign about it. The Trump campaign moved out of the Trump tower the next day and prompted the Trump tweet about being wiretapped.
