So you also give him a pass for committing Social Security fraud? If I have a family and commit Social Security fraud will they not lock me away because of my family?

Do you have any more excuses why people who break the law should be given passes?

Apparently, some want them to have the right to be unpunished for criminal activity.

Nope. Pretty sure Brews et al are perfectly okay with yellow and brown migrants, if they're legal and hard working contributors who respect your laws. EG, Indians and Asians.

Yet he continued to break it. He married a citizen yet didn't apply for spousal residency.

    We just do our part.

Let our reps know that we don't want any deal involving amnesty and then help to combat the plague of ignorance that Democrat media infects our neighbors with.

The collectivist are all like " if you come here unchecked and unregulated and managed to hide out for 30 years and have some kind of family, you get a total pass for breaking immigration laws and all the other laws you broke"

    His wife was a citizen.

He could have played by the rules and returned to Mexico and applied for an immigration visa under the chain migration policies and he would have more than likely been issued an immigration visa.

But it was his choice not to play by the rules and become a criminal being deported.

Yup, and he could have gotten it in 6 months to a year.

Assuming, of course, he wasn't a criminal with a multi-deportation record.

There are plenty of people willing to do whatever it takes to become LEGAL citizens of your country. Reserve your compassion for them, and/or the establishing of aid to refugees within their own territories.

Compassion alone should never be the driver of decisions in these areas. And when it is engaged, it should be engaged judiciously, not spastically. We are in the privileged position of being able to afford compassion (most of the world isn't), so we should be spending it wisely. Wise is the feeding of the starving, the ending of wars, and the saving of the planet .. it's not citizenship for well fed criminals.

His wife and kids are free to go with him, surely?

I wouldn't hesitate if it was my husband. I would not 'abandon' him to his fate, and I would not deprive him and his children of the company of each other. His wife is a strange person, IMO.

Families migrate to different parts of the world every day, for any number of reasons. This family can move to Mexico (or wherever he came from) just as easily. Carrying on like they have no choices is infantile.

    That's liberal logic.

It's funny when to stop and analyze the liberal mind.

Malania Trump played by the rules. She went back to her home country in Slovenia back in 2001 and went to the U.S. Embassy and applied for an immigration visa.

Or she could have flipped America the bird and ignored the law and became an illegal alien criminal when her tourist visa expired.

No, and the independents agree, **** this identity thief.

Of course, people like you don't care how he may have effected others via stealing their identities.

I am a husband and a father and a grandfather and Inhave been at least twice as long as that guy but I am not being deported. Oh thatvright I came here legally just as my parents did.

Sad story but the TS rule apllies in this case. I do not know what conditions that guy was running away from but my dad would have been executed by tecRussian-Communists and my mom and Ibwould have been sent to Siberia and Inam sure thatvat age 2 1/2 I would not have lived long enough to reach the Ural Mountains or the Russians would have thrown me off the prisoner train... intona snowbanknto die...

So I am sure that illegal cannot match my story.

He was in the US for 30 years but just couldn't find the time to apply for legal citizenship? I ain't buying it. Get his ass out of here. There is either more to this story we don't know, like he has a criminal background. Or maybe he is too stupid to find time in 30 years to fill out some paperwork and take an easy test? No, I ain't buying it.

He gets a pass because he's been getting away with it for 30 years and he has a family. If you break a law and get away with it for 30 years and have a family you will also get a pass.... NOT!!!
