that's why people are coming here in droves? We can't give out citizenship fast enough.
it's diluted to think that people want to come here from all over the world? If that was the case we wouldn't be talking about immigration reform.

Well if you have steak at home there's no reason to go out for hamburger.

As a teacher for more than ten years this is a bad idea. You can't have teachers armed for the same reasons the guards in prisons are not armed. Too much danger of a student grabbing the weapon and using it. Any shooter entering a school has the advantage of surprise and iniative Having more armed people in school won't change that.

Also simply having armed teachers would not be effective. Your armed teachers would need to be relentlessly trained. Probably trained to a higher level than regular law enforcement.

They come there as all Americans came there - to get as much money as possible for doing as little as possible, and nowadays that's a mug's game. The capitalists will tell lies about restricting immigration to fool the mugs, an keep it going to keep wages down amongst those same mugs - as you very well know.

So you've chase this rabbit to the point where you're going to bring up intent in manufactur?

Who cares what the people were thinking when they designed the *******n thing if people are dying what difference does it make do you care about people?

The fact is more people die in traffic by a huge margin then from guns. You don't have the right to own a car. You don't need a car you can take a bus.

So if it's really about damage control then it's hypocritical of you to make excuses with regard to the intent of the manufacturer.

The people who couldn't make it in decent societies went there to help steal land and labour, as you know. I'm a normal socialist, as you'd be if you were allowed to know about the matter.

so it's obvious that the intent of manufacture justifies all the people that died in traffic?

    That's odd

the NRA is not a philanthropist organization.

I don't armed teachers is the way to go either.

But I do think creating soft targets is a bad idea.

There's a reason why you don't see this sort of thing happen at a gun show or an NRA convention.

If the above were come to pass, what would you ban if the next school shooter used a revolver or pump shotgun?

Yes. banning those will stop school shootings. Just like banning pot stops kids from smoking it.

No, somebody is actually educated on sociology and anthropology. In the past, communities did work together.

This idea of the self-sustaining nuclear family where the father works and provides while the mother raises the children is a modern invention. Human history is a long chain of men and women both working together with their neighbors (who were usually extended family) while the children were cared for by elderly communtty members who couldn’t work in the fields, or go out on fishing boats, etc.

Have some good examples? I'm a history buff and everything I've read from all eras in history the norm was for men to hunt and toil while women raised the children. In hunter gatherer societies women did gather but they brought the kids with them.
