The taboo of eating beef is a fairly recent construct. Not some backward tradition from 1000s of years ago. Many children there are extremely malnourished. To deny them a source of protein based on fantasy is evil IMO.

Communion or the Eucharist is not a requirement for "salvation" in the tenants of Christianity even in the Catholic Church, which originated the ritual.
