Yet they do not focus on school security, they focus on guns owned by people who don't go anywhere near schools. That makes them liars and frauds with an agenda.
Back when all kids were cool with guns (like me) and guns were not vilified, there were no problems in schools. Ergo, guns cannot be the problem. People have always had guns in America, but this twisted violence in schools is new. The real problem is the sick warped minds that want to murder people. Mental health, not guns, is the problem.
You avoided the question. I'll ask again: What did the NRA do 60 years ago that it does not do now? Be specific and bring citations.
Its there, it means something you don't like and you don't get to ignore it. Don't like it? Repeal it.

The 2nd is there, it means something you don't like, and you don't get to ignore it. Don't like it? Repeal it.
You guys are getting close to 2/3 of each chamber of Congress? Almost have 3/4 of the state legislators? Otherwise, you are no where near a tipping point and can stop pretending you are, or stop fooling yourself and end your self-inflicted disappointment now...

When the states constituted their union, they never gave the legislative branch any authority to enact laws prohibiting the acquisition and possession of firearms. There's no constitutional authority for any such legislation.
You like guns you want more guns and as many as you can afford to acquire. Sadly thats your curse and you are content with the consequences of that mindset however many lives it costs in your society .....thats the brutal truth
Good morning Gents. Could you please stop pissing yourselves over our guns. 2A is not going to change. Suck it up. Flogger, you are a one trick pony. Dave buy stock in pampers and vagasil.
It's how I get to understand exactly what your end goal is without assuming anything on my part. It's part of being a trained mathematician. It's the way we think. It's obvious that you want the NRA to be less hard line. I would presume that is so they won't oppose certain, or less likely, all gun control legislation. If this is the case, what legislation to do you to pass in Congress without NRA opposition? If not, for what other purposes do you want a kinder, gentler NRA?
I guess I'm mystified by this "guess my position" debating style. I'm not concerned with your politics here. I'm asking to what specific end do you want to change the current political stance of the NRA. You wrote "You aren't real gun owners. You're political hacks. Take back the NRA." What do you plan to do with the NRA when it's taken back? Why aren't we "real gun owners"? The law, the Democratic Party and my gun range all feel that I am.
"The full extent of that transformation came into sharp focus in the aftermath of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, when reporters put the NRA under the microscope after the revelation that domestic terrorist Timothy McVeigh had once sent an angry letter to his congressman sealed with a decal reading: “I’m the NRA.” https://www.bostonglobe.com/opinion...-turn-right/GMxQYrHLfvm5KIb2TvQVWK/story.html
You're blaming the NRA for the actions of one of it's members? An action that involved a fertilizer bomb and a rental truck? As I recall he was protesting the actions of several agencies of the Federal government.
I really don't consider that a reasonable request given your reluctance or refusal to write a simple sentence to answer "What do you plan to do with the NRA when it's taken back?", which has been asked twice, or your inability to provide a simple one word answer to the question "Do you want the NRA to end all of its political activity?", the largest of which has just three letters.
O we're at a tipping point alright, just not how you think. CNC milling being affordable to do at home, and the plans for CNC milling arms being on the internet, put gun control on its last legs. 3d printing is the first nail in the coffin. Improve it a bit more and it'll be the last nail in the coffin. Its going to be glorious to hear the lamentations of you graboids
