https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy...intcmp=ob_article_footer_text&intcmp=obinsite HYPERLINK has full story snip The number of people collecting foods stamps has dropped tremendously since President Trump took office, according to the latest numbers from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). More than 2.8 million have stopped participating in the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) – commonly known as food stamps – since Trump’s first full month in office end snip I tuned into CNN, MSNBC et al and saw no mention of this great news. It's reports like this which we should all be celebrating along with the good economic news. A working America is a strong America.
Yes, but never forget, "A working America" is also an America that doesn't need to depend on welfare doles and handouts from a gaggle of socialist Democrat overlords who set themselves up in power as the 'hands that ladle out the goody from the stew pot'....
To the left, this is dosn't mean anything. Or it is because of Obama. But, anyone with a brain can see that it is all Trump.
This is indeed great news. On a slightly off-topic question: I've heard there are millions of vacant STEM field jobs. Is this true or just some random bull people spew?
The trend continues https://fns-prod.azureedge.net/sites/default/files/pd/SNAPsummary.pdf Year - Users 2008 - 28,223 2009 - 33,490 2010 - 40,302 2011 - 44,709 2012 - 46,609 2013 - 47,636 (peak) 2014 - 46,664 2015 - 45,767 2016 - 44,219 2017 - 42,123
After the lefties worked so hard at getting these people hooked up to the government teet, Trump has ruin everything by getting them jobs.
I'm guess its about the same number of Fox news reports you saw when millions dropped off of food stamps when Obama was in office.
And? Basically, 5 million dropped off SNAP once the recession was over and the job market improved under Obama. It would be pretty sad if that trend didn't continue.
This is good news but.... the reality is at this rate it will still take forever to return to pre-Obama numbers. An improving economy helps immensely, but a percentage of people will still take advantage of the program as long as they can. More reform is still needed, imho.
He got me a $1,000 bonus from my employer. It helped pay for college for my son. I already had a job.
From the day Obama walked into the Oval Office, till the day he left, my home increased in value $225,000 and my 401K nearly doubled. Not saying it was all about Obama - but if you want to say Trump merely signing a tax plan that other Republicans created is all about Trump - well, there we are.
Glad to hear of your good fortune. Easy to IMPROVE on NOTHING, which is where the CRA/Mortgage backed securities trading/Fannie-Freddie insured ECONOMELT left our economy, and home values at, in 2007-2008. Trump has inspired CONFIDENCE in the American economic juggernaut...which is the MAIN IMPETUS of the current growth. COMMERCE driving ECONOMIC GROWTH is something he REALLY GETS...obviously
It's actually fantastic that these people are so freaking out about Donald Trump because it almost guarantees a second term they are so busy trying to convince you that he's literally Hitler that they can't focus on running a candidate to oppose him
Food stamps reciprients net numbers under Obama : + 10,729,000 Food stamps net numbers under Trump : - 2,800,000.
"Don't feed the animals. They will become dependent and unable to fend for themselves." Of those who no longer need food stamps, they have something the government can never provide; dignity!
