Fox News analysts are starting to come out of their closets now as their reputation as Trump propaganda prostitutes starts to overwhelm their self-belief.

It is astonishing how blatant the Fox News and analysis personnel were in their stumpings for Trump. How could they not have known that their reputations would be tarnished forever by prostitution?

Can Fox 'News' ever be considered to be a news source again? How can Fox redeem itself from its reputation for political prostitution?

Will Fox have to pay reparations to the American public for marketing a crock of feces as 'news'?

This should not come as a shock to any person with half a brain. What is also true is that CNN, MSNBC are even worse. This did not used to be the case - even a few years ago.

The interesting thing is not so much in assessing where these two arms of the Propaganda State disagree - but where they agree.

In that assessment is where the biggest BS lies.

When have you or your ilk ever considered them a news source?

    lol.

And you may want to check the facts but your leftie news sources have been running Trump 24/7 since he was nominated.

At least FOX covers other stories.

When has Fox not been an arm of the GOP and a propaganda machine? Several years back I heard that Dick Cheney always had every TV in every room in whatever hotel he stayed in wherever he travelled to, tuned into Faux News just to hear all of their fake praise and bull-**** propaganda for his corrupt war-mongering administration. As far as "prostitutes" for Trump in particular, I am amazed that such an uncharismatic idiot and self-serving bore such as Trump could ever evoke loyalty and excitement from anyone.

One thing is certain, when you pay your cable TV bill, it is divided up between all the channels whether you watch them or not.

That's why I dropped cable TV over 18 months ago.

A simple rabbit ears antenna picks up over 50 channels free of charge in my mid-sized metropolitan area. The best part is, I don't pay anyone to get brainwashed! LOL

I have Amazon Prime and haven't even scratched the surface of what's available. The local free channels I get are even better than cable ever was. I get 2 or 3 movie channels, not the same crap over and over since they depend solely on advertising revenue, the entertainment quality is better.

    MAGA!

Anonymous piles of bones in boxes are not exactly newsworthy. They won't know who they are for months if ever.

typical leftist...dead soldiers remains returning home = anonymous piles of bones not exactly newsworthy
If only you were informed enough to know that soldiers are already being identified. Please keep saying these things in public so people can see what rolls around in the leftist mindset.

Part of Faux's raison d'être is to create a construct in which false equivalences about the media become commonly accepted among consumers of outlets who on the whole have no journalistic integrity.........like Faux.

It is not my thread/OP and there is links in the OP.

What is it that you want proven - via a "Link" ?

Further.. your assumption that a claim without a link is pointless is nonsense. Do you need a link to prove that water is wet - that the sun will rise tomorrow - or that the moon is not made of green cheese.

What is also pointless is not stating what it is that you would like proven.

The problem is that these are not false equivalencies. I am deadly serious when I say that while CNN/MSNBC used to have some legitimacy - they no longer do. Fox - who has always lacked legitimacy - who were the first of the network "news" outlets to lower the level of journalistic integrity - are actually better in some respects than the other two.

At the end of the day - all three are "National Enquirer" news = not news. It is all editorializing .. and "Faux" editorializing at that.

Again - a point which you did not focus on - is that the problem is not so much where Fox/CNN disagree but, where they agree.

    For example:

Iran the #1 State Sponsor of Terrorism - This is a preposterous lie.. which both maintain.

Syria - The "moderate rebel lie" neither network seriously challenged this lie - nor did they report on the fact that we have been arming and supporting Al Qaeda/ISIS which was what created this disaster.. or the fact that arming a proxy insurgency in a sovereign nation is a complete violation of international law.

Abortion - when is the last time you heard a discussion of the main Abortion arguments on MSNBC/CNN ?

Individual liberty - Where is the discussion about how individual liberty is being trampled on ?

Censorship - where is the discussion of how the Gov't is coercing these social media companies to maintain the Establishment narrative by censoring ideas and narratives which conflict with this narrative ?

Where is the discussion about how international financiers - and national financiers - own the MSM but just as important - control and dictate content ?
    https://alethonews.com/2018/04/23/msnbc-where-journalism-goes-to-die/

I have just rattled a few things off the top of my head .. I can go on and on. I can not watch for more than a few minutes without big "guffaws".

Mostly it is what is not reported "the sin of omission". This is the main propaganda tactic.

I can't say anything about CNN, as I am not a regular viewer.

But Fox's blatant propaganda effort has earned them the nickname TrumpTV.

Not that this is any surprise. Roger Ailes made it clear that he wanted right wing talk radio with pictures, for a television network, aiming to gain the loyalty of the same people who are glued to talk radio all day.

Fox was never intended to be a news organization, and it never really has been.

Nor is it surprising that MSNBC essentially copied the same business model aimed at a different ideology. MSNBC slants heavily ( and does not pretend to be "fair and balanced", but it does not have to lie. Fox lies a lot. It's audience does not care, and Fox knows it.

    "
interesting thing is not so much in assessing where these two arms of the Propaganda State disagree - but where they agree. "

Yes, that's true. But the disagree parts are worth noting, as that's where you'll find the errors of omission on both sides.

When have ABC-NBC-CBS-CNN-MSNBC-PBS-NPR-NYT-LAT-Newsweek-Time NOT been an arm of the DNC and a propaganda machine?
