I feel a responsibility to offer an apology to His Holiness Pope Francis..........
for this entire discussion in some ways.........
because I am terribly flawed myself.... and I am certain that i have committed......
Lashon Hara / slander / false accusation in this discussion somewhere..... but........
I am not certain where exactly because....... I truly do feel that two centuries from now........

........ our great, great, great.... grandchildren could be looking back on all of this..... .and perhaps
in the year 2185..... for example........ Mr. Mark Taylor and / or Pastor Rick Joyner could be looked upon
as having been the final Elijah...... much as I have always viewed John the Baptist.........

as having played that role for Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus - Issa.......

anyway..... as always.... I digress...............

It's quite difficult to manage a flock of 1.2 Billion, mostly if it's a composite of unique traits and human borne tendencies, but he did try his best to suit the teaching of the church with that of the myriads of characters that the faith domains. At some point I think he is winning, I think making other ways how to regulate everyone towards fulfillment of saving souls. He still will not retire soon.

Francis needs to be forced to resign and then released from the clergy to go get a job in a traveling circus, preferably in one of his beloved shithole countries.

If the Roman Catholic Church is to regain any credibility with real Catholics again, it needs to declare that the 'palace coup' against the legitimate Pope Benedict XVI to have been a work of the evil power and put him back into the Papacy immediately....

Should Pope Francis retire prematurely?
No. He's the best Pope in my lifetime, and I hope he has a long, healthy, productive Papacy. I also hope he helps the Church transition to what every other church in the world has already done--allowing priests & nuns to marry. That should help alleviate the constant, pervasive sexual tension plaguing the Church across time.

 

Actually.... I think that you are correct.... I do also think that he is the best Pope to hold that office in my 59 years...........
but...... when YHWH takes over in the Roman Catholic Church and makes it H-s again...........

We often agree on many things, Dennis, but not on "Pope" Francis. Although I'm a Roman Catholic 'on paper' I have not been to Mass since he usurped the Papacy from the only authentic, legitimate Pope, Benedict XVI.

Do some research on Jorge Bergoglio before he became "Francis" and come to understand what has really been installed as the leader of the Roman Catholic Church. Disgusting! Then, add to that his "papal" performance since taking authority from Pope Benedict. Francis is nothing more than an global-socialist entertainer....

 

Pope Francis spent much of his life in Argentina dealing with the tyrannical rule of military officers who murdered over 100,000 of their own people. Those militarists were overthrown and a democratic government installed which had some socialist aspects--but good ones that upheld the rights of individuals for the first time in decades. To simply say Francis is a socialist and disregard all his personal strengths as a religious leader, is both unfair and wrong. Francis is a good man who cares deeply about his Church and human rights. I disagree with those who simply go around finding fault with Francis. Francis doesn't deserve such biased, judgmental, harsh treatment.

 

I do admit that he is very left wing politically..........
but I get the impression that he is sincere in his political convictions........

I am praying for Pope Benedict to be miraculously healed of his medical conditions and be able to assume the office of Pope again when and if Pope Francis does retire.............

yes..... Pope Francis is somewhat more "socialist" than I personally feel comfortable with but.......
I feel that he is playing out his role in life in a manner that eventually could get him something of an Academy Award....... for the reality film of his own life..........

If Pope Francis and / or some of his main advisors were to research the assertions that I made here...... I suspect that they might at least somewhat agree with me..........

If and when Pope Benedict experiences miraculous healing that will astonish the world..... perhaps both Pope Francis and I may become students / disciples of Rabbi Alon Anava....... who in my opinion is one of the most astonishing intellects on this earth at this time.......

Could Rabbi Alon Anava be more like Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus than any Christian on earth?

I had high hopes for him, but I think he is committing the same error that the past few Popes have done, refusing to admit the problem and doing anything concrete to stop it. He needs to resign if he doesn't get a backbone and ending the scandals--he needs to order the opening of all the clerical records to the authorities, and kick out all the criminals (including those who committed the crime of hiding the criminals) in the priesthood/bishophood. IMHO, that's why Benedict resigned--because he knew he didn't have the strength or energy to do what needed to be done.
