But of course they do. Dems should elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez speaker of the house to lead us all into the bright Socialist future. And she knows how to pay for it, too.

No more silly than chastising Republican candidate for driving away with a dog on a family car roof.

    I don't know about that.

She will certainly not pursue the matter unless the evidence that emerges make it blatant that impeachment a constitiutional necessity. I never doubted that for a minute.

Even if it is obvious that the man should be removed, it would be far easier and far more politically expedient to bury the man and his Administration in his own long list of scandals and run the clock out on his term.

Of course, if it becomes necessary, Pense becomes President. And that man can suck the air right out of a room.

Trump's unhinged press conference made it very clear that he really does not like doing the job of President, and he no longer has the opportunity to do his Archie Bunker schtick before fawning mobs every day. That's the only part of the job he really likes, campaigning!

But the investigating committees will parade an entire rogues gallery of Trump flunkies, bag men, hangers on, industry lobbyists appointed to loot the treasury, and cabinet officials with shady dealings. (cut the right wing "they all do it" excuse).

This is the most corrupt Administration in US history. To date, they have made little effort to hide their activites, confident in the knowledge that the lickspittle Republican leadership will put party interest over the rule of law.

He can only be impeached for an act while serving as justice. The Senate judged his testimony and confirmed him, the House can't overrule them.

And they are doing this because it worked so well for the Republicans that did the same with Clinton. Learn from history or repeat it and apparently democrats have chosen the latter.

So if he lied during his confirmation, he gets away with it?

That's not true. No time limit is set in the language regarding impeaching a justice- still i don't think it will happen.

Whoa. This is a story from "The Federalist" website ? A right wing nut-job site ?

Ok, all you trumpettes can continue with your circle-j**k. The rest of us normal people can get on with our lives with our new Democratic House.

    Section. 1.
The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services, a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.

That has been interpreted to mean that as long as their behavior on the court is good they cannot be removed, they have do to something while serving on that bench.
The House is trying to usurp the Constitution authority of the Senate and it's advise and consent role.

He didn't but that would be up to the Senate at the time.

It would take at about 115 House Democrats to get rid of Pelosi. Considering how low Pelosi's favorables are, Democratic voters were apparently oblivious to the fact that voting for a Democrat was a vote to have Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House.

I don’t know if he did or not. If he did he could be impeached.

Kavanaugh lied and Trump colluded, but going after them has a pretty good chance of completely back firing.

Let's just suppose they're successful, that angry mob that got Trump elected will be even more incensed and have greater feelings of disenfranchisement. That likely leads to a big backlash in 2020 unless by some miracle the democrats find a candidate that's actually electable. Not to mention, Pence is a theocrat and that seems like at best a lateral move..

Total horseshit and will it backfire? You bet your ass!

Could Papadopoulos Blow the Russia Hoax Wide Open?

What seems clear at this point is that the FBI -- representing the US Government and as an agency of the Department of Justice -- targeted Papadopoulos and attempted to manipulate him into appearing to be a vehicle for Russian influence in the Trump campaign

    Bring it on!

Stupid Democrats, the Constitution says a SCOTUS justice can only be impeached for acts done while in office. He could have committed perjury and rape prior to and they can't do a thing.

You are wrong. His background has already been investigated. He has undergone the congressional interview and vetting process and been confirmed by the Senate. He will need to commit some improper act while on the bench.

You said he did now you say you don't know. The Senate said he didn't, end of story. The only people who lied were the accusers.

I have always felt the only hope to get Trump out, was to make him miserable enough to quit.

    No kidding.

All that "impeachment talk" is RW Tinfoil Hat Stuff (written on RW Trash Blogs that nobody takes seriously).

Sadly, that RW Tinfoil Hat BS finds its way here (thanks to people who believe it is their live's mission to spread RW BS propaganda).:smfh:

I remember the RWers here in 2016 saying the Ds are so bad, so corrupt, they won't see power again for decades.
