That's because the revolt is against the globalist collective who are trying to assimilate France and the French people are waking up to it and do not want their culture and identity erased. It is probably too late and in 10 years France will look completely different.

This is what France last gasp of freedom looks like.

The collective will smash this revolt and use their embedded intelligence to seize people Who resist assimilation.

You mean Frenchmen who resist assimilation, not the immigrants who terrorize the Frenchmen, right?

80% support the movement. There can't be civil war if nobody is on the other side.

More likely Macron is forced out whether he likes it or not.

Good riddance. There's still a chance they storm the Bastille, put him up against a wall and shoot him.

The French are an odd lot, I'm not entirely sure I like them. But they have a reputation for providing swift justice when a movement.gets ignored.

Gillets Jaunes shows how utterly useless tanks and nuclear bombs are in the face of a united protest.

Macron has apparently caved. Should be interesting to see if that is enough to save his government.

Caved is a strong word..more like stalling since all he wants to do is put off the fuel tax for 6 months to allow for further " discussion " the yellow vests are having none of it and want it removed completely.

    He's toast

You are probably right. His approval is under 30%. Macron is treading water wearing concrete sneakers.

Carl Benjamin Argues that the Yellow Vest Rebellion is a Flashpoint in the War of Globalists vs Nationalists

It can't be overlooked that Macron taxed his own beleaguered citizens in order to help, supposedly, the globe itself. The gas tax was just the straw that broke the camel's back. We'll see what new demands the rebels make.

100% agree Macron ran on economical reform and he won overwhelmingly but this gas tax has broken the dam and the natives are catching on to his globalist fk his own culture initiatives. This is just one example of it but now everything goes under the microscope.

And as we can see those natives have gotten quite restless...leftists nor globalists can say oh its just la pen and or the far right since 70 to 80% of the damn country support the natives in yellow vests.

Its worldwide..moderate people don't want anything to do with far left ideology. It's too drastic

Also if we watched the video..the people IE the yellow vests were antagonistic to the journalist until they found out that he wasn't French media then they were welcoming. It's telling to me because it appears just like in the US the media there is pro Macron pro globalist pro leftist. Even though the majority of neither country is leftist...the majority is moderate with far left and right minorities.

I think its an interesting parallel

And much of the thinking left is rediscovering its small limited government roots. Which is very bad for Macron.

It is in part a protest against globalism. Some of the protesters were saying they have no money, the government takes it all, gas is $8 a gallon I'm sure due to high taxes. Ain't socialism grand?

Macron could only dream of Trump's approval numbers, or his economy.

Don't let democrats lie to you and say they would not love to see France like policies in America. If they thought they could pass a gas tax and make gas $7 a gallon they would. In a Democrat's mind raising gas taxes forces all the little people out of their cars and on to the trains Leaving the roads for the elites.

Then with the tax money raised from the gas tax they would send it to their palestinian or Iranian allies. The last people democrats will help with American tax dollars is Americans.

No, antifas are always far left, for the casseurs it's more complicated, it's often the "charm of diversity", people which destroy for the pleasure of destroying, or looters. All casseurs/breakers aren't politized.

It's the originality of the yellow jacket, even if they tend to be more classified to the right wing, they tend to gather people from both far left and far right.

The yellow jackets represent the last gasp of the French people trying to save their country from being assimilated and their identity's being erased. Antifa are facist that would attack the yellow jackets for daring to oppose the globalist who have the world's best interests at heart.

:deadhorse: How dare you deny climate change... whack

In America democrats would love to see a $7 a gallon gas price but they will lie to you and tell you that's not true. They would also love to ship that money earned to the palestinians in the name of humanitarian aid. The last place democrats want to spend American tax dollars is in America.
