    You are 100% correct. And the fact that Mueller hasn't acted immediately tells me the story may not be 100% true... I understand why Cohen would deny it before he flipped, but it makes no sense now.

    If Mueller told him to shut his trap about the investigation, he wouldn't approve Cohen's ongoing denials...

    I may have to give this story a :frown: face for now and hope I'm wrong in February.

    Well, he, Mueller, sure could not stop Flynn from spinning the FBI interview could he? He only spanked him hard after. Just something to consider when we are dealing with folk that lie first everytime.

    On Thursday McClatchy hacks Peter Stone and Greg Gordon released a liberal media “bombshell” that Michael Cohen’s mobile phone was traced to Prague, Czech Republic in the fall of 2016. This is the proof the left was looking for to help solve the mystery of the junk Trump-Russia dossier!

    The left was ecstatic!

    Then this happened…
    McClatchy “reporter” Greg Gordon later admitted he did not have a first-hand source for his story, or a second-hand source. His source was a third-hand source.

    In other words, the report is complete junk.

    I've essentially given up on this story myself, since Cohen continues to deny it after his cooperation with Bob Mueller began. Cannot think of a reason he'd continue to lie publicly.

    However, I would have loved to have watched you guys in the Spring of 1973, when nobody would go on the record with Woodward and Bernstein... and they were dealing with primarily Americans...

    Nope... there are plenty of parallels to the early days of Watergate reporting and reporting on Trump crimes so far... Time will tell if they continue or veer off on different paths..

    The largest connection is the continued pattern of the affected WH calling the press "enemies of the people" (Trump) or developing an "enemies list" containing many members of the media (Nixon).

    one major difference Woodward and Bernstein actually went out and did invastigatetive journalism they just didn't take their anomynios source (deep throat) word on it they went out and gathered verifying evidence to corroborate what the anomynios source told them

    none of that is done today they just take what some anomynios source who ever it may be or maybe none at all just a made up source and print it with no verification no corroboration

    then when it turns out to be fake they just go not my fault I just wrote down what the source told me and no I won't give you the name of the source

    true journalism is dead

    I discussed all of that... Watergate was primarily centered in Washington, so it was not physically difficult to hit the pavement and talk to people.

    Investigating things involving Russia and Europe is inherently more difficult, although it shouldn't be impossible.

    And getting multiple sources to tell you the same story is corroboration by definition..... Look it up... what hasn't fully happened yet is substantiation....
