Because it is people living in x, dictating how people in y live and controlling them for the people who live in x advantage.

The problem with the Left's "demographic" chest beating is that young Democrats often turn into Republicans when they grow up. Since their grip on young people is fleeting, enabling children to vote is the only solution to that problem.

Another problem Dems are confronting is the rising number of young libertarians. When I was a kid they didn't exist, and neither did outstanding youth groups like Students for Liberty (my avatar came from them).

I may be exaggerating slightly for effect

My point stands, Republicans often seem to be proud of how many people they can keep from voting

When demo lose they try to change the rules. As if every single 16 year old wouldn't vote for legal weed and free everything else.

Here in CA almost all the empty area is dominated by Republicans In the cities a republican is likely to be shot as to be voted for. Why do you support the cities voting out republicans?

Thatś called governing, I always heard. There are features built into the system which try to keep that from getting out of hand. First and foremost the election is not the complete and entire input you are allowed into the government. Your representative is still supposed to represent you whether he´s of your vote or not. This latest one, where the ¨winners¨ entire relations with the other side has been summed up in the phrase ¨**** you, we won¨ for going on 3 years now seems a bit unusual in that regard.

I support the voters voting for whoever they think will do the best job. If you want more voters to vote for you, you could try to, I don´t know, agree with more voters?

Everything that tries to make voting easier. particularly the longer voting days and times, is opposed foursquare by Republicans

I think the overall goal is to ensure that votes counted are legitimate votes only. Has it ever gone beyond that at some point, or in some specific instance? Yeah, probably.

The idea is to make it hard for people to vote. Some Republicans actually say so.

They think anyone from anywhere should be able to vote any time with no question asked.

That too, but there´s another claimed reason for that, I´m talking mainly about extended voting times and days.

Why not win BOTH the Electoral College votes and the popular totals ... the majority of Presidents do it ... except Trump and Bush. Can't be that hard. Unless the candidate is a unethical dick.

I think itś kind of silly to ask for an ID when you´ve already had that ID checked professionally when you registered

Are you limited in your state? I vote several weeks ahead of the election day. Why should it take longer?

Trust but verify. Why do you want it easier to commit voter fraud?

That would be correct if it was done that way nationally. Maybe we need the congress to create a law requiring proof of birth or naturalization prior to registering anybody!!!

    I bet this much.

Ask all republicans if they support the Feds in DC making the law that all who vote must be registered to vote upon presentment of proof of citizenship.

Then ask all Democrats and see the huge difference.
