We are going to turn our attention to the FISA abuse before long and the public will see how this all started.

Sources with direct knowledge tell me that the Mueller report is expected to be sent to DoJ sometime between this afternoon and when the sun eventually forms into a red dwarf and engulfs the planet in its entirety.

No less than nine of Trump's close associates have connections to the Russian government or were involved in concealed payoffs. One was the former chief of the DOJ. One is his former NSA. One is a former campaign manager. One was a former deputy campaign manager. One was his personal lawyer for ten years. Another one is his son-in-law, and another is his son.

In December 2016, Mike Flynn made a deal with the Russian ambassador for Trump, the elected President. Try to imagine private citizen Flynn doing that all on his own.

We know of at least one occasion where his son, son-in-law, and his campaign manager met with representatives of the Russian government at Trump's home, Trump Tower, to gain an advantage in the election. Put all this together, and it is extremely unlikely the hands-on manager did not know what was going on.

Trump has been accused of obstruction of justice. This charge is related to his firing of the FBI director. At the time, the FBI was actively engaged in the Russian probe.

In May 2017 Trump met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Ambassador to the US Sergey Kislyak in the Oval Office. He had this to say about the firing of James Comey, his FBI director.

"I just fired the head of the FBI. He was crazy, a real nut job," Trump said. "I faced great pressure because of Russia. That's taken off." "I'm not under investigation," he added.

Trump appreciated the help from the Russians and WikiLeaks. “WikiLeaks! I love WikiLeaks,” Trump proclaimed at a Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, rally on Oct. 10, 2016. “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Trump said during a news conference in an apparent reference to Clinton’s deleted emails. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

Why in the world would Trump be so foolish as to collaborate with the Russian government in a Presidential election? Is he really that naive?

One possible answer is, his hands were caught in the cookie jar. Evidence suggests that he was involved in money laundering with Russian interests. This further suggests that Putin knows about it, and he is extorting the President.

Why, on a number of occasions, Trump encouraged the Russians and WikiLeaks to involve themselves in the election is a question no one can answer and suggests extreme naiveté on Trump's part, or a strong belief that he is above the law -- the law does not pertain to him. Who knows, but it was stupid.

Time reports, "Testimony to the U.S. Congress by the head of a political research firm indicates that the Trump Organization’s sales of properties to Russian nationals may have involved money-laundering.

“Transcripts reveal serious allegations that the Trump Organization may have engaged in money laundering with Russian nationals. Patterns of buying and selling were suggestive of money-laundering."

One important factor that we all must keep in mind. Trump never does the dirty work. He gets others to do it for him. Picture Trump calling the Russian ambassador to make a deal in December 2016. Never happen, right. So, claiming that Trump never collaborated with the Russians or did not know about the activities of his son, son-in-law, campaign manager, and personal lawyer on his behalf is meaningless and useless as a defense tactic. Trump is responsible for what the Trump campaign did in his name.

Best guess on the Mueller report going public; sometime between now and April 1st.

    April Fools!

Trump is playing his usual games with the American people.

“I don’t mind,” he said when asked whether the report should be public. “I mean, frankly, I told the House if you want, let them see it.”

He said that because a huge majority of Republicans want the report to go public.

Then he provided a major argument against its release. He went on to decry the very existence of the Mueller report, arguing it is the result of an investigation that never should have been launched. He concluded by again suggesting it should be public but also indicating it may not be.

Then he said, “Let it come out. Let people see it,” Trump said. “That’s up to the attorney general. And we’ll see what happens.”

In other words, he is all over the place, contradicted himself, and, in the end, didn't say a damn thing. It was Trump being Trump.

And, being Trump, no doubt he will say something completely different tomorrow.

    Out of curiosity
Lets make the assumption that the mueller investigation is actually about the mandat given to the investigation when it was started.... how should have ghe investigation proceeded differently than it has?

Sandy, Sandy,Sandy. Another day has gone by and no report. Would Mueller possibly be thinking of a Friday afternoon release? If in fact is a nothingburger, that would give the usual suspects time to spin it into something it was not. Could that be the plan??

We know Russia interfered in our election on Trump's behalf. We know Trump has never admitted that. We know that at Helsinki Trump rejected the extensive work done by our intelligence agencies and accepted Putin's denial because the Russian dictator was sincere.

What else do we know? Trump will not disclose his secret conversations with Putin not even to his closest advisors, and there are no records of those conversations. Only Putin knows, not American intelligence and not American security officials.

We also know this poses a risk to our national security.

President Trump has gone to extraordinary lengths to conceal details of his conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, including on at least one occasion taking possession of the notes of his own interpreter and instructing the linguist not to discuss what had transpired with other administration officials.

The constraints that Trump imposed are part of a broader pattern by the president of shielding his communications with Putin from public scrutiny and preventing even high-ranking officials in his own administration from fully knowing what he has told one of the United States’ main adversaries.

As a result, U.S. officials said there is no detailed record, even in classified files, of Trump’s face-to-face interactions with the Russian leader at five locations over the past two years. Such a gap would be unusual in any presidency, let alone one that Russia sought to install through what U.S. intelligence agencies have described as an unprecedented campaign of election interference.

Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III is thought to be in the final stages of an investigation that has focused largely on whether Trump or his associates conspired with Russia during the 2016 presidential campaign. The new details about Trump’s continued secrecy underscore the extent to which little is known about his communications with Putin since becoming president.

At Helsinki, Trump spent two hours alone with Putin, only translators were allowed. Many suspect Trump is being extorted by Putin, which would explain a lot. Only Putin knows what was said during those two hours. What is Trump hiding?

Trump said in an interview with Fox News host Jeanine Pirro that he did not take particular steps to conceal his private meetings with Putin (that is an extraordinary lie) and attacked The Washington Post and its owner Jeffrey P. Bezos.

“Anyone could have listened to that meeting. That meeting is open for grabs,” Trump said. That is a bald-faced lie not even his diehard fans can believe.
