I do not believe that it can be proven if either one of them were intentionally lying. Also what is the big deal if she did say to call it something other than an investigation or not. Who cares? If you think that Barr or any other US prosecutor should charge her or Comey, bring it on. It sure doesn’t look like a good case to take to trial and get a conviction beyond reasonable doubt. Very weak indeed.

I am not in favor of charging Barr with lying to Congress either for not saying that Mueller was not happy with the way he characterized the report to Senator Christ. Barr could weasel out and say that he misunderstood the question. However I have no problem with congress holding Barr in contempt for ignoring their subpoena. That’s pretty standard for anyone who refuses to appear after being subpoenaed.

How about if Trump Jr. lied to Congress then refused to appear under subpoena? Is that ok with you? If you or I received a congressional subpoena and refused to appear after lying to them the first time, our asses would be in jail. It’s nice to see rich big shots get nailed by law enforcement and political committees just like the average Joe gets every day. Screw these guys.

Further, if any of these FBI big shots or Federal prosecutors are found to be corrupt and breaking the law in order to bring phony charges against any of our citizens including Trump, I hope they get tossed in jail too. However I have not seen any credible evidence of criminal activity committed by Comey, Strzok, Ohr, Page, Mueller or any of these guys as of yet. If credible evidence can be produced of criminal acts, bring it and I will certainly be open to considering it. All I have seen thus far are ztrump and his media lackeys flapping their gums in what looks to be a transparent attempt to divert attention to what the Mueller report has alleged against Trump and some of his cohorts

Depends on whether a report will be made or a grand jury will be impaneled. If the former, nothing will ever happen. Law enforcement likes to protect their own. If the latter then maybe Brennan, who if the email to others from Comey is correct, lied under oath.

It has been reported that this investigation was unusually compartmentalized at the top level, including first only a few of Obama's top officers. Comey, Brennan, Clapper, and the Obama WH. It eventually expanded to around 16 people but even their staff were kept out of the loop. Another unusual think is that their meeting room always has a camera rolling (no sound) so people know when the meeting room is being used but they blacked out the cameras.

Now Comey, who's story has more cred in this instance is saying that Brennan wanted the dossier included in the IC report and Brennan testified under oath he didn't know about it but it is apparent that it was used in the IC report according to others.

The 17 intelligence agencies is also the false narrative since it was only the FBI, the CIA, and the NSA. The FBI and CIA gave the report 'high confidence' which included dossier material but Rogers of the NSA would only go 'moderate confidence'.

The dossier was the evidence and hot item and now they are trying to blame each other for wanting to use it. They know they 'could' be in trouble since this was used to try and take down a sitting president. After Comey told the president that there was a dossier with some 'salacious' content it was immediately leaked to the press to gain support for the special counsel.

It looks like now the justification for the FISA warrants is that those asking for one are the same ones that verify if the information is verified and they are saying that the information does not need to be verified, only that, as an example, the footnotes are right. If that holds legally then there is no barrier for spying on any American for any invented reason.

This ain't looking good for the 'small group' that orchestrated this. Everyone should be concerned because this kind of swamp needs to be cleaned up.
