They don't have authority to investigate crimes...we've been over this. They don't have Constitutional power to investigate crimes.

An investigation for crimes was already done by a Special Counsel, a position created by Congress to investigate such things.....he did not find any crimes. Sorry

It was NOT created by congress, it’s a DOJ creation and congress does not have to rely on the executive branch to investigate its self!

Exactly, Comey said they wrote the exoneration letter long before the investigation was done, said that's common. Wonder if they did that for Trump.

Thanks for the reminder that trump threatened to put someone in jail after they were fully exonerated.
Now he cries about congressional oversight lol

Yes and the special counsel law from congress expired.
So again, congress does not have to rely on the executive to invesigate itself

Sure they do since the Constitution doesn't give power to investigate crimes. Oversight, but not the power to investigate crimes. That's a clear abuse of Seperation of Powers.

Lol so only the executive branch can investigate the executive branch and the president can stop any investigation he wants.
This sounds like a good idea to you???

I don't recall the 2 year investigation of Trump which turned up nothing being referred to as a "matter" in the the Democrats and MSM made sure we knew it was an investigation that was going to have Trump and his associates marching off to jail. It was an INVESTIGATION, that is what the FBI does it investigates for crimes. Why did she wanted it couched in their official statements?

not obstruction but perjury lying under oath you know the same charge that Papadopoulos Flynn and many others were given by Mueller which Papadopoulos spent time in jail for
so Lynch needs to spend the same amount of time in jail as Papadopoulos

He can for cause, sorry I thought that was clear. The firing would be from the AG. You should read up on the law, it’s publicly available. Asking about potential conflicts is also certainly allowed.

Trump's problem with Mueller was his conflicts of interest firing him for that cause would not have stopped the investigation at all.
