Rybicki saw the writing on the wall. He wasn't about to stick around and risk his pension. Rybicki's been real quiet, and either Rybicki is scared, or everyone else in his orbit should be.

Wow. Asking someone to use a different word. "Matter" instead of "investigation". That's - like - obstruction, right?

That is obviously MUCH more serious than asking the head of the FBI to drop an investigation altogether - "just see if you can let it go". That wouldn't matter. But asking him to call an investigation a matter? Heads must roll!!!

No I don't think that it's OK to lie to Congress.

But for you, it is OK for a president to lie to the American people and to obstruct justice.

Well I understand you want to believe that, so let's just stick with the lying. It is OK for you that the president lies to the people multiple times a day, every day?

Name a recent President who doesn't lie. Not Washington that's not recent.

I'd respect your opinions if you would just come out and say you hate Trump and you would like to see him dead.

All presidents exaggerate and stretch the truth. They make promises they don't keep. Occasionally some of them have flat-out lied.

But Trump lies every day, multiple times each day. He doesn't care about facts. He says whatever he wishes were true, as if it were fact. Trump is in a completely different category to any other president when it comes to lying. It would not be a stretch to say that he has lied to the American people more in just two years in office, than all other presidents have lied (collectively) going back to Ford.

Lying under oath to Congress is bad. A crime, even. But you give Trump a total pass for lying daily. Pathetic. Sad.

I won't say that. Because I don't hate him and I don't want to see him dead. I don't respect him, and I want to see him voted out of office, but I sure don't want him dead. That's just sick.

If it's not a big deal to change the wording from investigate to matter why do it at all? Shall we call the FBI the Federal Bureau of Matter now?

Well...sounds like a crack in the cover up...why did Lynch so forcibly come out and try and deny this? I have no doubt the Barr DOJ will get to the bottom of this. Once a rock is flipped over the bugs start to run in different directions...we are seeing that with Lynch, Comey, Clapper, McCabe et al

My point was that no-one tried to shut down the investigation. Can you imagine if Lynch had asked Comey to just "let it go" when they were talking about the Clinton email investigation? Republicans would be screaming "obstruction of justice", and rightly so.

But Trump says that to Comey and it is no big deal, right?

And you conveniently deleted the part of my post that was uncomfortable for you. The part that pointed out the fact that Trump lies more than all other presidents in recent memory put together. Here is what I said, that you deleted:

Occasionally some of them have flat-out lied.

But Trump lies every day, multiple times each day. He doesn't care about facts. He says whatever he wishes were true, as if it were fact. Care to respond to that?

Actually according to Lisa Page the Obama DOJ did much more then "let it go" they told the FBI flat out they wouldn't charge regards of the fruits of the investigation. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ex...own-on-clinton-email-prosecution-gop-rep-says

"So let me if I can, I know I’m testing your memory," Ratcliffe began as he questioned Page under oath, according to a transcript excerpt he posted on Twitter. "But when you say advice you got from the Department, you’re making it sound like it was the Department that told you: You’re not going to charge gross negligence because we’re the prosecutors and we’re telling you we’re not going to —"

Page interrupted: "That is correct," as Ratcliffe finished his sentence, " -- bring a case based on that."

Can you give me a link where he lied to Congress, not saying it isn't true.

Prosecutorial decision. That is way different than a politician interfering with the investigation. Lynch didn't make that call. She had recused herself.

I didn't say Trump lied to Congress. You claimed that Lynch or Comey did.

Of course Trump will never give evidence under oath because his lawyers know that he is incapable of telling the truth. If he gives evidence under oath he WILL lie under oath.

And you still give him a pass for lying to the American people every single ****ing day, multiple times each day. I guess you consider it fine because it isn't under oath.

As usual you focus on the wrong things. One was an order one was an ask. The real legal issue is lying under oath not the obstruction, hell that happens everyday in prosecution offices in our country. You wouldn't have enough cells, if what your claiming is obstruction.

You're guilty of the same thing, that’s like saying, “You went outside in the rain. You’re bad.”
