Really? They just keep $90k in the freezer and steal their campaign money and donations to charity. Even AOC misdirected campaign money.

So what proof do you have that Trump laundered money?

Framed by the deep state! Partisan witch hunt!
Jk I’m not a republican lol

I didn’t say he laundered money. I said he hides his finances like he does. Well know soon enough. What’s your guess?

In the house? Yah they did. Did they pass anything to stop this abuse of tax payer funds?

Not for made up witch hunting investigations.

The Dems are going to suffer badly in 2020 for this.

Sure, but isn’t their supposed to be evidence of a crime first?

Remember that time when Bill Clinton did not release his tax returns until AFTER he was elected and only because of the heat he was taking over Whitewater investments.....and he was found to have greatly over-estimated his losses and underpaid his taxes? Hickory Farms remembers.

She hid those records for years! She didn't turn them over. They were magically found in the White House right outside her office. By the way, they know the Whitewater deal was corruption. You never heard of FileGate? Just another event making her a total scumbag.

There is no such event with Trump that they can specifically name. This is called tyranny.

Oh brother. You know damn well that every time you tell the forum what "democrats don't do" you get numerous examples they in fact do. Sen. Bob Menendez comes to mind. I included Bob's title, Senator, because Bob still has his seat.

The purpose of the subpoenas is to obtain evidence. If they already had evidence of a crime, they wouldn't need subpoenas.

And these were Congressional subpoenas. So they aren't necessarily investigating crimes, but exercising their powers of oversight.

I know you know that, and you are just making excuses for Trump.

When did it become legal to imprison news publishers?

    1. He’s not been convicted
    2. He didn’t run for president and hide his finances.

He sure made every effort to withhold his financial records. Menendez was indicted, and Trump hasn't even been charged. The "run for POTUS" gibberish? The only reason Menendez isn't candidate #24 is because he's under indictment. :roflol:

Financial institutions are not news publishers.

    Try to keep up.

I have no problem with that if there is a reason to suspect wrong doing.

Hopefully the dems will never nominate anyone who refuses to release at least the last few years of his/her tax returns. And yes, Hillary was crooked

Hopefully they won't. But I believe in transparency - party has no place in my feelings on that.

I was disappointed in Mitt, but I still voted for him. I never got his position: if you're worth hundreds of millions and want to be potus, just pay the same % as me … it's not like you'll feel any pain.

Mitt sort of had the embarrassment of being a vulture capitalist, but the truth was the jobs lost at failing US corporations would have been lost regardless, and his buying up stuff did ultimately keep some jobs here.

Trump has taken it to a whole new level. It's possible and probably likely that Trump and Jared's personal financial interests conflict with Americas. Congress has the power to investigate that, and it should.

The problem with Hillary was that her foundation's disclosures really did show she'd taken money from people who had interests at least possibly contrary to ours. The dems should not have nominated her.

'reason to suspect' justifies investigation - which will or will not find evidence.
