Then why hasn’t the Trump DOJ prosecuted her? The FBI investigated those issues years ago and did not find any criminal activity on Clinton’s part. Then after screaming to have her locked up throughout the campaign, Sessions who was involved in that campaign did nothing. My guess is that Sessions knew that Comey was right.

What's more, they have created a construct whereby they can rationalize refusing to accept the truth. How? Let's take my link as an example. It quotes Comey, who led the investigation in to Hillary's emails. By necessity he has been tarnished by the Liar-in-Chief so they get to dismiss anything he says.......no matter how factual. Where does the link come from? The construct has that covered too. It comes from the "fake news" media. So again, no matter that what is reported is factual the construct gives them the permission they need to deny the facts.

The same thing is playing out with Mueller's report. Many Trumpists keep posting things about the report that are the exact opposite of the facts. How? They eschew reality in favor of right wing media lies because Faux has convinced them everyone else lies but Faux..............WHEN THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE.

Yes I am home. Comey said he did not think it was a case to be prosecuted. Just because the right wing idiot media has trashed Comey for years doesn’t make it true. This email crap was a chicken sh*t deal and there was no malice or intent. Mueller said pretty much the same thing about what several of Trumps associates were doing by consorting with Russian crooks and intel people during the 2016 campaign. Their actions were ill advised and raised concerns but he did not think he could orbwould suggest prosecuting them. Same deal.

What really looks bad is that Trump is now openly ordering his new lackey AG to investigate his political enemies and publically stating that any are guilty of a capital crime. I remember when Manson was being charged for murder and almost got a mistrial because Nixon deemed him guilty. What Trump is doing is using his bully pulpit to poison potential jury pools. Trump and Barr’s actions are even more blatant than Nixon and Mitchell. I hope that the US Congress investigates Trump endlessly just like they did to Clinton for the whole 8 years of his two terms. Good for the goose.....Once the Congress gets ahold of Trumps financial records it might provide evidence of money laundering, tax evasion and bank fraud. I do not believe that the courts will uphold Trump and Barr’s attempts to cover up his crimes. We shall see.

That said, I also welcome hearing from Strzok, Comey, Mueller, Page, Holder and all of the others that Trump and his lying lackeys in the media (Hannity, Limbaugh etc always)have been trashing for years. My guess is that Barr is just talking sh*t to divert attention from his crooked benefactor and NONE of those people will be arrested much less indicted or convicted. I also predict that IG Horowitz report will not prop up the ridiculous deep State crap theory that the Trumpanzees have been puking out.

Mueller found no Trump crimes after 2 years of efforts aided by 19 rabid anti-Trump top notch lawyers. Comey attested to some of Hillary's crimes.

Comey clearly reported what his investigation into this email crap (which was driven by political hacks in congress) and stated that she mishandled some material but what he found did not amount to prosecutable crimes. However if she is such an archcriminal why the hell hasn’t Trumps DOJ done a damn thing about it in over 2 years.....The answer is probably that they looked into it and agreed with Comey’s opinion and knew they did not have an airtight case.


Mueller’s report said pretty much the same regarding the numerous incidents of Trump associates and campaign officials interacting with Russian crooks and others closely tied Russian intel personnel. He pointed out the improper and irresponsible behavior of several Trump associates (read volume 1 of the OSC report) but just as Comey decided in the Clinton case, that the evidence wasn’t there to charge them with crimes. Same deal.

Common sense clearly tells us that Trump and many of his associates fully welcomed the illegal actions the Russian were involved. Trumps campaign helped them in their quest to swing the election by giving internal polling data to Russian intel agents who sponsored Trump ralleys in key states down the stretch of the election. But, like Comey, Mueller did not think their actions were prosecutable because of the difficulty of proving malice or intent.

However that does not prevent congress from looking into those incidents to craft clear legislation to prevent this from happening again or to decide if the several incidents listed in volume 2 of the report are indeed impeachable offenses regarding obstruction of justice. That is up to the US House of Representatives. Any action taken by Trump or the executive branch to block congressional investigations or tamper with witnesses is also a clear case of obstruction.

And please don’t come back with the usual “but Hillary” crap. Trumps DOJ has been in charge since January 2017. I don’t really give a rat’s ass if they prosecute her. I voted against her every time she has ever appeared on a ballot. Also never voted for slick Willy.

Why do you conflate Don's guilt with regard to obstruction of justice with his potential for a second term?

Real obstruction would have been to not cooperate with the investigation. Not have given them the million documents they requested. Making whiney annoying tweets isn't obstructing the law. The Mueller report is over. I know it's hard to let go. I myself am currently in denial that game of thrones ended so I know the feeling. Things will get better.
