I've cited to the story numerous times. Bone spurs don't go away on their own. If he had bone spurs in his early 20s, he would've needed medical treatment to have them removed. The absence of even a claim that Bonespurs had his bone spurs treated suggests that he never had them. This is corroborated by the physician's (the doctor who "diagnosed" the bone spurs) daughters, who claimed that the phony diagnosis was a favor to Bonespurs' daddy. If you have some article or story that you can cite to suggesting that Bonespurs was either treated, or still suffers from painful bone spurs, please point it out.

To all those Vietnam era vets here, was a doctors note really enough to get out of the draft? Sounds too easy to me. I joined in 1988 and the military gave me a pretty complete physical. During a draft, seems the military would want to perform their own physical for someone requesting medical deferment.
Logic usually escapes Lefties so I'm not surprised. If he had a real medical condition he could have used that from the very beginning instead of using deferments. Notice they never said he had an exam that showed he had asthma, instead the claim was he had asthma in high school even though he played football.
