reparations will never pass, it shoudl of happened when the slaves were freed, they have all passed now, sadly it was not, but can't change that now

and how do we know which black people are decedents from white slave owners, slave owner decedents should get reparations too?

and what about the white people that risked their lives to free slaves, some of them losing their lives

we are all Americans, all of us just as responsible for America's past regardless of the color of our skin - black Americans are just as responsible for slavery before they were born as white Americans... something to think about

help the working class and poor in America regardless of race, that raises everyone up, don't divide us by race

I have a question for Ms Williamson: How much should the people who captured and sold slaves in Africa have to pay in reparations?

 

The left has worked hard to divide us by race.

 

Money would be better spent invested in our country's infrastructure rather than handed out to random black people born in the 80's and 90's.

You just triggered a memory for me. Many years ago I was on a business trip to New Orleans when Terminator II came out. I wanted to see the movie so a friend and I walked to a nearby theatre, which turned out to be in the black hood. I was amazed by the shouted out comments during the movie and the ganja smoke wafting throughout the theatre. But in a way, it made for a party atmosphere.
