    yeah, it's much more complicated then most think

    imagine being black and not getting a check... cause you did not qualify

    "African Ancestry DNA Results gone wrong"



    and many white people woudl qualify as we are the great melting pot.. most of us have no idea what is in our DNA

    would we base it on DNA, birth records, skin color, how would we decide?

    Naw. Trumpublicans won't have a thing come November 2020. I predict a Democratic landslide all around. Reparations are such an insignificant issue on voters' minds, they're not going to be basing their votes on that. I know for a fact that I as an independent don't really care about it and would not be opposed to seeing those who were enslaved and otherwise so terribly wronged by this country for generations receiving some compensation to help make amends and help them recover from the ill effects of it all. Jim Crow wasn't all that long ago yet and racism persists to this day.

    If we're going to get into the business of reparations the descendants of African slaves should pay reparations to the descendants of the Union soldiers who freed their ancestors from bondage, many at the cost of their lives, limbs and livelihoods.

    While they're at it, they can repay the costs the Union incurred waging the Civil War (in current dollars, of course).
