Voting process is a state by state issue. I'm in a vote-by-mail state, and it's working very well.

WA, CO and OR have moved to vote-by-mail.

That means no polling places: no hours limitations, no transportation issues, no changing ID requirements, no cheating on id, no hacked machines, no unequal distributin of required equipment/material (so some have to wait in line for hours while others walk through), no volunteers who don't know the law, clear paper trail, no "lost" ballots (like my state once had), etc.

Of course, this doesn't fix gerrymandering and it doesn't fix the fact that citizens in Washington, DC have no congressional representation, yet they can't even pass a budget without the approval of the US congress in which they have no representation!!

 

Americans' right to vote is not a matter of my judgement. It is a matter of the US Constitution.

First of all, we do not have the transcript of the phone call. We have an edited version that even shows where there are omissions in key places. The actual transcript was locked in a secure vault in an unknown location used for the highest level of state secrets. (Why do you suppose THAT is?) And, the executive branch refuses to make it available.

Beyond that, there have been multiple witnesses who have made statements concerning the quid pro quo.

There were multiple people in on the Trump conversation. There were other conduits for presenting the quid pro quo to the Ukranian president - including but not limited to Pence and Giuliani.
